The last 1 hour of a 5.30hrs trip. There was no announcement, no meet and greet by any of the staff and nothing to make the people feel welcome and derive the most of the trip. It was not worth the money. Not sure if the trip would have costed less if direct with the tour operator and so the poor quality of a tour!

What a fabulous little two hours down the fjord. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The boat sails very serenely and at such a pace that you don’t miss a thing. This is vital as the scenery through the fjord is out of this world. When we went in December great snow and ice made the backdrop breathtaking. The pick up and drop off were seamless and worth every penny.

It was a long day (round trip), but it was really fabulous. So beautiful, I took loads of photos. I alternated between being outside on the upper back deck and sitting in an upstairs window seat. It was cold outside, but the views were completely worth it. The boat makes numerous very quick stops, where folks depart and get on… super quick and great to understand this, if I do the trip another time… might want to stop somewhere and catch the return from there.

The whole journey is scenic. We did a round trip but I would advise ppl to do a single trip and come back to Bergen via train. It is not a guided tour and WiFi was quite spotty so read about the place before you go. The seats were comfortable and the toilets surprisingly clean considering it was fully packed ferry!!

A great journey on a high speed catamaran and the time flies by too. This is a fairly large boat, but the views out of the sides and external space on rear and front decks make sure there are plenty of opportunities for taking great pics or just watching the world go by. There is a real mix of passengers, those like us who join to do a there and back tour (5.5 hrs each way - stay on the same side of the boat for the return to see a different view), those going between Flåm and Bergen, one way, taking in the railway up to Myrdal, and others connecting with the stops on the way (there are about 12 stops). This is not a guided tour, but sightseers are not completely forgotten, with some occasional commentary and a couple of extra close up stops by waterfalls for extra photos. An expensive day but I’m glad we did it to experience one of the wonders of the natural world the deepest and second longest fjord in the world. You never get bored with the scenery as the boat moves so fast - covering well over 100 miles each way. On board the ride is smooth and the seats comfortable, with plenty of space to move/walk around. The cafe has a good selection and is open most of the journey. There js free wifi but the 4/5G reception is pretty good throughout and surprisingly in some very remote places. A note on the cancellations and poor reviews. We booked ours for Sunday because it suited us, but we were transferred a day early as the service wasn’t operating on a Sunday. On board it says it operates 6 days per week, so this could be a regular problem. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if you’re needing to connect with the train at Flåm or have accommodation booked at one of the stops, then be careful!

The fjord cruise and Flam train was breathtaking beautiful, much snow on ground level in Summer. We had a few photo stops, very scenic with steep mountain sides, hanging valleys, snow peaks & waterfalls. There was a singing performance at 1 of them. Very enjoyable cruise & train ride. The fjord is the most outstanding natural attraction in Norway & well worth seeing.

Appreciated the Captain of the ferry sharing descriptions and pausing at notable sites along the fjord. The Wow Tour rep was informative regarding a possible schedule change well in advance of travel dates to allow for changes to our tour date. Tour was as described. Tremendous way to experience this fjord.

Majestic view of the fjords! The changing scenery was mesmerizing. Nice snack shop and beer and wine! Try to avoid sitting in back middle section.
