Fantastic day. Tony, our driver/guide was excellent - chatty and knowledgeable about all the various sights and in between. Early start from Sydney allowed us to beat the crowds for the wildlife park and feeding the kangaroos and patting a koala was terrific.
The drive itself was also very interesting but horrifying to see the extent of the recent fires and how close they had come to major settlements. But amazing to see how quickly the trees etc are starting to regenerate.
We were made to feel very welcome at the stops for coffee and tasty and substantial lunch. Then marvellous views from the botanical gardens and up into the Blue Mountains for scenic rides and spectacular views.
The coach ride itself was also terrific - coach very spacious and comfortable, driven skilfully by Tony with interesting commentary from him all the way.

We never got to go due to a flight cancellation. I’ve been trying to reach out to someone because it wasn’t our fault the flight canceled and nobody has emailed me back.
