Stop At: Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, 217 - 229 Kildare Rd Doonside, Blacktown, New South Wales 2767 Australia
This can be discussed prior to or on the day of your tour as we recommend visiting this park in the morning on route to the Blue Mountains. This is your chance to get to know up close and personal native Australian Wildlife including, Kangaroos, Pademelons, Wallaby, Koalas, Dingoes, plus many more. Take your time or make it quick, it's up to you as the day is yours to remember at your leisure and pace.
This is an optional stop not included in the price of the tour please advise if you’d like to visit this park.

Stop At: Glenbrook, Glenbrook, Blue Mountains, New South Wales
Our first stop is an optional visit into The Lower blue Mountains National Park where very few others venture to. You'll be surrounded by lush bushland and listen to nothing but the birds and wildlife including Kookaburras, Cockatoos, Magpies even cicadas during summer. Enjoy the sounds of the Australian Bush here in the lower mountains national park. This is a real Escape from the Crowds. We may consider a quick coffee here or make a dash for the upper mountains. Depending on your choices, this may/may not be included. As this venue is only accessible crossing a water causeway, this may not be available following heavy rain.

Stop At: Wentworth Falls, Wentworth Falls, Blue Mountains, New South Wales
This is the most spectacular waterfall in the mountains and a must-see when visiting this region. Get photography tips using your iPhone with long exposure waterfall photography then we'll take a walk to look over the falls with an optional extension to the bottom. These views are spectacular! How far we go here is up to you.. Depending on your level of fitness this may or may/not be included in the tour for passengers looking for more of a driving tour with less walking.
Fancy a swim in the warmer months? Bring your swimmers for a dip in the pool under the waterfall, it'll be a moment you'll never forget.

This mountain village is a popular destination for village shopping and lunch. With an eclectic number of village-style shops you'll immerse yourself in the local mountains atmosphere. There are a number of cafe's offering a great range of quality gourmet foods. It can be popular here but well worth a visit as you can spend as much or as little time here as you like.

We spend most of our time within the Blue Mountains exploring lush rainforest areas and lookouts. Check out remote lookouts which are perfect for capture using your own equipment such as aerial drone photography & videography.

Stop At: Scenic World Blue Mountains, Corner Violet Street & Cliff Drive, Katoomba, New South Wales 2780 Australia
We are happy to accommodate visiting Scenic World, we suggest purchasing your tickets online once you've booked this tour with us and advise us accordingly. We do not include or provide tickets for this activity. This activity takes 2+ hours out of the day which could be used exploring beyond.

Stop At: Echo Point Lookout, Katoomba, New South Wales Australia
Photographing the Three Sisters must be considered as a highlight of the day and time it so the Three sisters are displayed at their best, in the afternoon light from the west. Although hard to avoid groups at this stop, we find the best time to visit is late-afternoon when the bulk of passengers have moved on. We save the best for last.

Stop At: Katoomba, Katoomba, Blue Mountains, New South Wales
There's an option to visit Katoomba for a pub lunch or simply stroll through the numerous eclectic shops.

This tour was fabulous. David is incredibly knowledgeable and really helped to introduce us to Australia, Sydney and the Blue Mountains. He customized the tour to our needs and requests and was so flexible and helpful throughout the day. We covered a lot of territory--drove through many neighborhoods and by lots of sights.
The Blue Mountains were gorgeous as advertised and we had perfect weather. This tour is not inexpensive, but it was worth EVERY PENNY . It is an ideal way to see and learn a lot and have fun too.

The day out with David more than lived up to the description. Worth every dear penny!
My wife and I hired David to help make the most of one of our six days in the Sydney area. We wanted to get out and see the native animals, some of the bush, and beautiful scenery of the Blue Mountains.
We were picked up early(!) from our downtown hotel (The Tank Stream) and driven in a very comfortable modern SUV. During the first part of the drive, David chatted with us to determine our goals and capabilities, and then tailored the day and destinations to match.
No wasted time, no bus loads of others holding things up. Just straight to the good stuff at our own pace.
Cannot recommend this option highly enough. We easily got a couple of days of experiences in, with only a single precious day of our holiday required!
For a couple or three people, just do it! Nothing to regret!

Like another reviewer mentioned, absolutely skip the large group tours. David is an excellent guide and host and his vehicle took us to other vantage spots in Blue Mountains that larger buses could not access. The weather was forecasted for rain and David monitored the weather. We wanted to include Featherdale for our 8 year old so we went there first and since it was our own tour we had no time restrictions, he even escorted us into the park and for us a discount. He then timed out drive and lunch with the rain and again, since we were not in a strict schedule we were able to have lunch and coffee while it rained and by the time we set off again to look at the sights and walk some trails, the rain had stopped. On our final stop to see the waterfalls, just as we were heading back to the car he recommended a family photo. Ten minutes later the clouds rolled in just in time for our drive back to Sydney. My husband told me later that David was the best tour guide he’s ever had. Highly recommend this tour, David really makes the tour about what you want to see/experience and for how long.

Chris is a great guide. His vehicle was clean and comfortable. Mother Nature did not cooperate for our tour but Chris kept us engaged. He knew of a great lunch place and scenic spots for small groups. He took us to many points of interest in Sydney as well.

We really enjoyed our full day tour in the Blue Mountains especially with our very professional, knowledgeable and experienced guide David.
We recommend this private tour which allows you to see the sites at your own pace.
David even found the spot where we saw 6 kangaroos very close by.

What an amazing day!!
David, our guide, was fantastic right from the start of our day to the end. He was able to tailor the tour to suit us based on the kind of things we enjoy but equally provided some structure to make sure we saw all the best bits.
The scenery in the blue mountains is incredible!! We saw some amazing sights, enjoyed lovely walks and even spotted some wild kangaroos!
David kept everything completely at our pace and it really felt like it was our day, but with a knowledgeable local expert to help guide us. It was perfect!
David's vehicle is also super comfortable, we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel door and the refreshments provided were great.
100% would recommend!

Waterfalls, wildlife, floraand fauna were the highlights of our rainy day trip. We enjoyed our trip with David and he was masterful at making our trip memorable in spite of the weather. We saw amazing views of the lower blue mountains and were able to get some up close views of Wentworth falls and the Three Sisters. He was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and knew his way around the back roads and places not frequented by the larger tours.
