Amazing tour with Ben - entertaining and fun tour guide with a variety of vineyards which were authentic and intimate. Tried amazing local wines, saw kangaroos , tasted delicious cheese and had a wonderful lunch in a beautiful setting.

We had a nice day - the three wineries, lunch at a resort, the tastings at a cheese shop and the bonus tastings at a chocolate store made for a very full day! The group was a manageable size and Ben, the tour guide provided commentary the whole way to Hunter Valley. I would recommend the trip if you want to try various Australian wines.

Small, local wineries with generous tastings and good wine. The cheese tasting was very delicious. The lunch included at the country club was very tasty and well presented. Good chocolate stop too.

Ben our g uide picked us up at the 4 Seasons back entrance in Sydney. It is a couple hours to get to Hunter valley. It will be a full day. I had wanted to see Hunter valley. Supposedly a very beautiful spot in Australia. We went to three wineries. Not really impressed with the wine or the wineries. You're mainly doing tastings and then off to the road. If you live in the US you will not be able to have wine shipped. I actually wish we had pre chosen the wineries we wanted to visit and did it on our own. Lunch is at a golf course. Pretty good choices and food. The third winery was our least favorite, but the highlight was the mob of kangaroos. Hunter valley was the only place we saw wild kangaroos. We also went to a cheese tasting. It would have been better to combine wine and cheese. The highlight for this was the kangaroos. It was a big cramped on the bus for a small tour. Note if you are the last tourist to arrive for the group, you're probably going to get the back of the bus. Don't complain if you're late and are the last people. The last couple to get to the meeting point, he was such a complainer he wanted everybody to switch so that they could sit in the front. Rude. He was complaining through the whole time I wish we could have dropped him off. The guide to ask people to switch and they were very nice folks who did it. And of course a big complainer, the last one always took the front seat by the driver. If you're that Tourist, learn to suck it up or get there earlier. First come, first serve . ( Note we were not first or second or third/
