My wife and I being sailing enthusiasts for many years, it was a treat to experience our first authenticate sailing experience on a working tall ship. Upwind left 'the rocks' under power off the quay across from Sidney Opera house east past Fort Denison towards shark island before turning about. We assisted hoisting the sales and enjoyed a simple dinner in the crew shack. We enjoyed the views of Sidney under a setting sun, passing under Sidney Harbor Bridge before turning back for the quay.

This trip definitely exceeded expectations. I was a little worried that it might be a bit 'fake', but this ship is the real deal - built in the early 1900s to break ice in the North Sea. Several of the guests got to help with the sails - I got to furl the Top Gallant - what a kick! I'd especially recommend this cruise for anyone who has done some sailing on modern boats. The non-sailors seemed to be enjoying themselves, as well. There are ample opportunities to get selfies with the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge in the background.

The ship was beautiful and authentic. We got a history lesson and a tour of the ship. The all you can drink option was worth it. The meal served was amazing and delicious. We sailed at sun set and had a glorious time.

We had such a relaxing evening as we sailed through the harbor. This was a low keyed dinner made by the crew. The only suggestion is that they have someone official at the designated pick up spot a little early. We had trouble figuring out where we should get on the ship.

The ship was beautiful and it was lovey to sail around Darling Harbor. Jo, the historian on board was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The food was just average, but it was much cheaper that other dinner cruises on the harbor with Viator. We enjoyed it

This was a very unique experience on a tall ship, almost 200 years old. The main spoiler was the weather blowing rain, but the crew were very enthusiastic and went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. The captain was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. The directions for pickup were not specific enough for strangers to the city. It wasnt made clear that the ship only sailed to the pickup point but wasnt docked there. We spent a lot of time looking for it. If you would like a unique tour, this is it. I would love to do it on a pleasant evening.

I do not drink and was told that I must purchase a package that included drinks. I ended up giving away the drink portion of this package.

To see Sydney is one thing. To sail upon its waters is another. But to do it slowly on a tall masted ship is even larger. Dinner was simple. The crew was very interactive. They allowed us to help set a sail. If I could have change one thing it would have been less wind. One sail was all we needed. Too often we tourist are in a hurry to see things. This is one way to experience Australia.

We had a lovely clear night with no rain and a lovely moon. You need to be good on your feet to get on board...a large size woman backed out of the excursion when she saw how tricky it was to get on board. Lots of history of the harbour was shared...nice touch. Those that did the mast climb enjoyed...if you are up to it this would be a buzz! The food was very average, dont expect too much or go with an empty tum! Going under the bridge was awesome.
