This tour was perfect for my daughter (her first Sydney experience) and I. It was flexible and included all that we had hoped for. Featherdale Wildlife Park was a hit! Feeding the kangaroos and posing with a koala, among other great animal sightings.. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining as we traversed the city and he immersed us in the culture. He arrived when scheduled and spent just the right amount of time in each stop. The tour is exactly what we hoped for and far exceeded expectations.

We selected pick up at the airport as our flight arrived early in the morning and hotel check in is always in the afternoon. This tour was the perfect choice to spend our time seeing the sights and more of Sydney and afterwards being dropped off at our hotel. Julia, our guide is a local and the perfect ambassador for the city. She was knowledgeable of the significance and history of the places we visited. We were provided suggestions for dining, shopping and other sights to visit nearby our hotel. We enjoyed our private tour and highly recommend it!

There was a little confusion about the initial pickup time for the tour. Viator had inaccurately listed the start time. We called the operator (Scott) and he explained that he would be there at 9am to commence the tour and he offered an apology on behalf of Viator for their listing the time inaccurately. Our first stop was in the Botanical Gardens. We arrived prior to the onslaught of buses full of tourists and we able to enjoy serene beauty of the park. We traveled through the city and traveled outwardly. Our path lead us passed Rose and Watson bay and onto Bondi Beach. Scott, our guide and driver, gave us a brief history of Sydney and the areas through which we traveled. As we stopped in all the beautiful places, Scott gave us plenty of time thoroughly enjoy in the views and take photos. On our way back towards the city we stopped at Steele Point. We sat on the rocks that overlook Shark Beach and Scott provided us with blueberry muffin and juice. He allowed us extra time to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the waves lapping over the rocks that accompanied the breath taking view. As we travelled back we requested that Scott return to the overlook adjacent to Gap Bluff. He was more than happy to oblige our request as he had done, and continued, to do during our entire tour. We traveled back through Sydney. We stopped and shared the "must have" pie at Harry's Cafe On Wheels. We continued on and across the bridge to the northern side of Sydney. We next stopped at Manly Beach for some more sight seeing and lunch. We were given ample time to both select and enjoy a hearty lunch at one the local restaurants facing the beach. We had made arrangements with Scott to meet after lunch. As part of our final visit to the north side of Sydney, Scott took us to North Head. It's an area that forms the northern section of the entrance to Sydney Harbor from the Pacific Ocean. Very quiet and beautiful area away from the typical tourist track. We traveled back towards the city and Scott continued to give us in-depth information and history. We stopped at The Rocks prior to the conclusion of our tour. Scott explained the historic value of the bridge and the residences and building surrounding it. We really enjoyed our day. A vast amount of information and history about Sydney was provided through the whole tour. Scott gave us some unique local insight about Sydney. We at no time felt rushed or hurried to meet any prescribed time schedule. I would highly recommend this tour as it gives travelers ideas of other areas of interest and beauty to visit beyond the "visitors guide". Scott is a proud Australian, excellent driver, and informed and knowledgeable tour guide.
