Skip the line does exactly what it says in the tin.
The staff were very observant of this and ensured that I was speedily dealt with.
The view from the tower is impressive you can see the Bridge and Opera House just. Highly recommended.

This is a very "touristy" thing to do, but wanted to go up The Eye to see a nice sunset / evening view of surrounding Sydney. Yes, there is one big building blocking the best view of the harbour, but it is still so breathtaking to see a major city from high above, especially at night.
Pictures are taken of you in front of a green screen and they put you in scenes ranging in front of the Opera House and Bridge to a very funny photo of you in the palm of "King Koala" hanging on to the Tower Tower just like King Kong!
At the end of your visit, they try and sell you a photo book (can't remember the price)... we din;t go for that.. then offered 1 picture for like $20 or $25... we didn't go for that... but received a code to go online (within a week) and get the photos for like $10. Do that and not buy the book, unless you want to, We did buy the photo book on our Opera House visit, but we planned to and that is just the most iconic building in Sydney.
Overall, it's just going up a tower and looking around, but it was a nice visit, with friend, helpful workers and a nice view!

Marvelous way to see the city - a great experience

The tower was awesome. The city view is so different from above. It gives you a sense of the size of the metro area of Sydney. This is a must do early in any trip to Sydney NSW.

Great starting spot to learn about Sydney before exploring the city.

We didn't queue long and the 4d video is ok. The views are amazing worth the reasonable charge they make. Very enjoyable and your not rushed staff helpful and polite.

In hindsite, I likely would go to the restaurant and purchase food to access the Tower instead of paying for the tour, but it is reasonably priced and provides great views of the city!

I've visited many tower eye and this is just alright not really a wow factor. I feel the Gold Coast tower eye was much better. Bigger space and angles for picture taking.

We did the evening tour of the tower during the vivid festival. You can not see the opera house from the tower and but can see some of the harbor bridge. We were hoping we could see more from the tower during the light festival especially the opera house, so that was the let down for us.
