Learn to surf on this 2-hour group lesson on Oahu. Join a group of students and discover how to ride the waves like some of the Island's most famous celebrities with the help of a certified, professional instructor. We have small student to instructor ratio of 1 instructor for every 3-4 students. Waikiki Surf Lesson starts a 10 minute safety slide show inside our surf shop, followed by heading to the beach and practicing on the sand for another 10 minutes. In our 20 year experience, we know that surfing is muscle memory, so when first timers master their surf stance then they tend to get up on their very first wave.

Learn to surf in a group setting with our instructors here at Sea Maui Surf! Your group lesson will begin with a land lesson going over ocean safety and beginner level basic steps to learn everything you nee to know on your lesson! As you are in a group setting all participants must have the ability to swim and feel comfortable doing so in the ocean on their own. For participants not comfortable with their swimming abilities (or under the age of 13) We must require you to participate in a private or semi private lesson to not take away from the others experience during the group lesson.
Our surf lessons in Waikiki offer a one-on-one experience between the student or group and a dedicated instructor, making them unique. This approach ensures that our lessons are tailored to the individual needs, skill level, and goals of the student. By providing personalized attention and feedback, we offer a customized learning experience that is not always possible in group lessons. Our lesson plans are designed to allow the student to learn at their own pace and focus on areas that need improvement. We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate busy schedules, making our lessons convenient and accessible.
