People travel from all over the world to visit the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains and view the iconic Three Sisters, but this experience is for those with a true sense of adventure, who want to get off the beaten path and into the wilderness.
With a like-minded group of explorers, you’ll travel by scenic train from Sydney's CBD to tackle a full-day trek through the Blue Mountains. You’ll explore lush forests and stunning vistas before climbing 300m/1000ft (over 800 steps in total!) to emerge beneath the Three Sisters themselves. You'll walk across a bridge to get up close to the Three Sisters, before returning along the cliff tops.
This hike isn't for the faint-hearted. As well as the 800 steps, you'll be walking over 14 km (9 miles) in around 5-7 hours. A high level of fitness is required.
But...if you're looking for a true, challenging taste of Australian bushland with local guides, topped with photo opportunities at the iconic Three Sisters - this is the hike for you.
Free-spirited, bohemian, hipster or shabby chic - whatever you want to call them, Newtown and Enmore are Sydney’s most eclectic neighbourhoods. Locals ride by on bikes they built themselves, you never really know what you’re going to find in the multitude of thrift stores that have set up shop here and Aussie cafe culture reigns. These neighbourhoods like life on the alternative side of things, and the locals have turned their quarter into enclaves of artistic counter culture where you could just as easily stumble upon an avant-garde movie screening as enjoy a picnic in the park, sip locally brewed craft beer on a rooftop as rub shoulders with boho fashionistas in the boutiques along King Street. Left leaning with more vintage shops, galleries, small venues, theatres and parks than you could ever wish for, you’ll never be short of things to do on a jaunt into Newtown and Enmore.
Join us for a unique tour of Sydney Harbour and historic Goat Island and get up close and personal with Sydney’s colourful convict past. Our 3 hour walking tour takes guests through the heart of Sydney. We explore the city’s rich Aboriginal, convict and colonial past alongside the modern day with our unique guiding style of combining history and entertainment.
Our expert guides will cover all the icons; the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and The Rocks, but they’ll also take guests to places where buses simply can’t go, as they invoke a Sydney they couldn’t find on their own.
Guests will also pick up some great tips on eating, drinking and experiencing Sydney from those who live it.
Groups are kept small so we can move around easily, but also allow the guide to chat with each guest.
We pause mid walk at a local cafe for a complimentary drink and rest stop.
