After welcome drinks at the River House, we take a short hike to the cliffs above the ridge, for breathtaking views of where we're about to paddle. Then it’s back to the water for a full brief on the comfortable double sit-on-top kayaks, before we paddle our way up to explore the River. The towering sandstone cliffs and untamed bush make this a remarkable place to visit.
Hear the story of the river unfold over the course of the day. Explore historic Bar Island, with its ancient midden, old church, and forgotten cemetery. The oyster farms. Take a cool dip in a secret natural pool, or have a quick clamber to the base of a waterfall.

Explore the coastline and some of Sydney's top snorkeling spots under the supervision of one of our experienced and friendly guides. Paddling a single sea kayak is a fun and unique way to explore Sydney's Middle Harbour. Choose your own adventure, paddle to some of Sydney's most pristine beaches, get a glimpse out the heads to the Pacific Ocean, or glide past the lush bushland of the Garigal National Park while looking for wildlife in their natural environment.
The Single kayaks that we provide are very easy to paddle, smooth through the water and moderately stable.
The deluxe single kayaks are made of lightweight materials like Kevlar, or carbon fiber. Less weight means less resistance through the water, making them easier to paddle. They are all Australian made and well maintained.

We'll then land and explore Goat Island (Memel in the local Aboriginal Language) before paddling back via Darling Harbour. Goat Island is closed to the public and landing is by special permit only. Your permit is included as part of the tour. After we're finished your welcome to have a hot shower before treating yourself to a great lunch at the famous Sydney Fish Markets a short walk away.
