Only an hour away from Sydney, you'll swim at deserted beaches, bush walk to stunning outlooks and discover Aboriginal art and engravings carved in rocks with a small tour group when we explore Pittwater and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park by land and by water! This full day guided tour includes both bushwalking and kayaking and is perfect for the experience seeker looking for an Australian, authentic adventure. Look for fairy penguins, goannas, galahs, cockatoos and wallabies calling Pittwater home among the gumtrees of this Australian national park. Double sit on top kayaks are provided and guests must be able to kayak for about 5 hours but we do take breaks! Morning tea & lunch is served picnic style on beaches along the western foreshore of the national park. At the end of our adventure, tired and happy, walk away with treasured memories!
Our main paddling area is within Middle Harbour (a beautiful off-shoot of Sydney Harbour) and depending on the conditions of the day, we can explore many amazing places.
We start at 6am to paddle out to see the sunrise over Sydney's Heads.
During our two hours, we could explore out to Grotto Point Light-house, or over to Cobbler's Beach and even into Balmoral. If the day is just right, then we can take a hike up to Middle Head and watch the manly ferries cruise past.
We will stop somewhere lovely for a hot coffee and some fresh fruit.
We meet at beautiful Bondi Beach, and your guided tour begins with a walk to another scenic ocean view, with rock pools, where locals swim, and you can take some Insta-worthy photos.
Once we are travelling along our route between Bondi and Watson's Bay, the ocean is almost always in view and many times, fingers crossed, we will see whales, which is always very exciting to experience!
If everyone in the party wishes, we can also visit a sea-view cave, which is also a great photo opportunity with ocean views and sounds.
At Watson's Bay, travellers who wish to, can try a little kayaking during lunch at a hidden paradise, secluded beach. Lunch is not provided but there is somewhere to buy food and refreshments, or do bring a packed lunch/picnic.
Guests have the opportunity to swim at the private beach, relax or take part in yoga, meditation, and Qi Gong, which are all included in the price.
Sunset watching near historic sites will be at the head of the harbour at Watson's Bay.
The area is green, lush, and peaceful, especially when you kayak through on the calm, water, and hear the gentle sound of the ripples as you progress through the forest. You can see many ducks and look out for tropical birds.
Previous customers have suggested that our charters make a memorable experience and the captain ensures to see plenty of wildlife on every charter, not just whales! The boat is perfect for all weather conditions, with drop-down clears to protect from the rain and wind and sunroofs that can open up to embrace the beautiful winter sun. Not only will you be exploring the Sydney harbour and , but some cruises also venture past Sydney's breathtaking Northern Beaches such as Manly Beach (weather permitted).
