Kayak to Goat Island in Sydney Harbour with Local

Come enjoy a morning sea kayak adventure on Sydney's beautiful harbour. No engine noise or fumes, just the sound of your paddle in the water and the sea birds squawking above! We'll experience the built environs and get up close and personal with many of the harbour's natural wonders and marine inhabitants. We'll paddle to the center of the harbour where we'll get some photos of you framed by the Harbour Bridge (I'm a professional photographer in my other job so expect good pics - no charge of course!) We'll then land and explore Goat Island (Memel in the local Aboriginal Language) before paddling back via Darling Harbour. Goat Island is closed to the public and landing is by special permit only. Your permit is included as part of the tour. After we're finished your welcome to have a hot shower before treating yourself to a great lunch at the famous Sydney Fish Markets a short walk away.

Guided Kayak Tour of Manly Cove Beaches

Small group, relaxing guided kayak tour that lets you admire the stunning environment of Manly Cove and learn a little history about the local area. After a short safety briefing and paddling demonstration, you'll head out with an experienced guide and explore the cove's beautiful beaches.

We will paddle to Little Manly, Collins, Store and Quarantine beaches, passing picturesque caves, striking rock formations and mini-waterfalls. You will stop on a secluded beach for some refreshments, a stroll, and there's plenty of time for a swim before we paddle back.

You don't need any previous experience kayaking, as this is a gentle tour at a leisurely pace. Your experienced guides will make sure you have a well-fitted life jacket, and give you a safety briefing and paddling demonstration before we head out.

You are welcome to bring a phone or small camera to capture the views, as we hand out dry bags before setting off.

Larger private groups can be accommodated by request.

Beautiful Middle Harbour Sunriser / Guided Kayaking Private Tour

This Middle Harbour SUNRISER is a Private Tour for up to 4 people per tour.

Our main paddling area is within Middle Harbour (a beautiful off-shoot of Sydney Harbour) and depending on the conditions of the day, we can explore many amazing places.

We start just before sunrise (starting time is generally between 5am and 6am) to paddle out to see the sunrise over Sydney's Heads.

During our two and a half hours, we could explore out to Grotto Point Light-house, or over to Cobbler's Beach, Chinaman's Beach and even into Balmoral.

We will stop somewhere lovely for a hot coffee and a light breakfast including some fresh fruit and juices.

You will be kayaking in very high-end composite double sea kayaks; they are very light, stable and very smooth to paddle.

Wilderness kayak adventure with gourmet food

Experience the Australian bush and unique sandstone rock formations.
A variety of birds, reptiles and animals inhabit the area any you can usually get closer in a kayak than on foot as they do not see you as threatening.
Great opportunities for photography as long as you are careful as water and cameras do not play well. Waterproof cameras are great, though many paddlers use normal cameras without any issues.

During our 32 years on Sydney Harbour, we know all the top spots to visit. We can explore many different locations depending on the conditions and we will do it in style by using beautiful Australian made lightweight double sea kayaks (made by Mirage Sea Kayaks).

On our paddle, it is more enjoyable that we cruise at a leisurely pace, therefore you will only need a moderate level of fitness.

You will need to be at least an intermediate or experienced kayaker.

We do not recommend this tour for beginner paddlers.

Tour starts at 7am and returns at 9.30am including a beautiful breakfast at our famous 'KAYAK Cafe'
