ITINERARY
This unique exploration of the Hunter Valley region provides a variety of food and wine experiences to showcase the best of the regions local produce - there is something for everyone! We will sample a range of wines from our favourite Boutique cellar doors, selected for their commitment to excellent customer experience and quality wine - with two tastings before lunch and one in the afternoon.
At lunchtime, we enjoy a delicious cafe lunch. Alternating between the lovely "The Winner is Oscars" and beautiful "Cypress Lakes Country Club" we allow plenty of time to relax and get to know your fellow travellers. After eating you can browse the bespoke collection of boutique shops.
After a relaxed paced day of sipping, sampling and slurping our way around the valley, we will start to make our way back to the hustle and bustle of Sydney.

Cruise pass valid for two consecutive days, and Zoo entry valid on one day.
The Blue Mountains National Park is a dissected sandstone plateau with spectacular gorges, sandstone cliffs, waterfalls and forests.
As time is precious we head straight to the mountains after picking you up at your hotel.
We start the day by taking in a number of wonderful lookouts and vistas (5 in all).
The day is completely flexible and from this point we have a few choices.
We can do a bushwalk of 1, 2 or 3 hours duration and will send further information if you are interested.
Alternatively we can include a visit to Scenic World with a smaller bushwalk.
If you prefer not to bushwalk at all we can visit Wentworth Falls and quaint Leura Village or go further afield and visit Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens.
For lunch we can either bring fresh Italian bread with a choice of fillings and salads or visit a local café.

Tantalize your taste buds on a small-group Hunter Valley wine- and cheese-tasting tour from Sydney. On this guided wine-tasting tour, taste up to 20 different wine varieties, sample cheese from a local cheese maker, and meet local wine lovers to discuss what makes the region and it's wines so unique. Our Blue Mountains Day Tour offers a high-quality experience. Starting city pickup at 7:00 am, the first highlight of the day includes a stop at Sydney Zoo where you’ll enjoy a First Nations cultural talk and have the opportunity to encounter local wildlife with a zoo ranger. We will then make our way to the Blue Mountains where you’ll find yourself surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the lush Blue Mountains. After lunch (own cost) at Luera, you can enjoy a self-guided scenic stroll along the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. You will have plenty of time to take in the unparalleled views from various lookout points on your walk along the clifftops. We then make our way to the Olympic Park Wharf where you board a scenic ferry back to the Sydney Harbour. You can choose to end the journey either at Circular Quay or Darling Harbour at the end of the day.
Travel north over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the blue water paradise of Port Stephens. With crystal clear waters, Port Stephens boasts over 26 pristine beaches, National Parks and diverse marine life.
The action starts with a visit to Birubi Point with the majestic 30km long Stockton Beach and the Southern Hemisphere's biggest sand dunes!
Take a 4WD over the dunes to sandboard down the huge slopes – lots of laughs and hard work walking back up! Walk along the beach and in the warmer months (conditions permitting) you can swim.
At Nelson Bay we have free time for lunch (own expense) with plenty of venues and shops to wander and find what you like.
It’s then onto a fun dolphin watching cruise to get up close to the local population of bottle nose dolphins that call this paradise home. Seeing these wonderful animals in the wild is wonderful memory for life.
On our return to Sydney we have a brief refreshment stop.
