Wellington's urban sprawl is actually made up of four cities. There certainly is a stack of things to see and do around this fine capital. Some of the top touristy things to see are the Beehive, Wrights Hill Fortress, Zealandia, the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, The Colonial Cottage Museum, the Wellington Cable Car, the Wellington Zoo, Rimutaka Range, the City Gallery Wellington, Matiu Soames Island, Carter Observatory, the Birthplace of Katherine Mansfield, Princess Bay, the Sacred Heart Cathedral, the Wellington Town Hall, the National War Memorial, the Adam Art Gallery and Mount Kaukau.
