Itinerary

Do you want to look better, feel better and think better? Do you want to increase your confidence? Do you need to relax your mind as well as your body? Nam Yang Kung Fu Retreat’s Shaolin Warrior program has been refined and developed since the school's opening in 2008. The program packs in the best elements of Chinese Kung Fu, Chi Kung, and meditation in a way which has proven to give students just what they want. Since most students are complete beginners in Kung Fu, the Shaolin Warrior Program will get beginners off to a strong start from day one. For those with experience, the masters will push you ahead faster.

The lesson begins at 6AM. Please arrive 10 minutes early to be shown around.

The lesson begins with the Tong Ling Chi Kung, Walking Meditation, and then Shuang Yang (Sun Frost White Crane Soft and Gentle Art). There is a break for Chinese Tea for discussion of training, philosophy, strategy, etc. Following is a technical session including topics such as old-style training, basic moves and combinations, Shaolin weapons and defense against weapons, sum chien internal training, combative drills, or Chi Na, fnishing with a group stretch. Breakfast is served at 9:15 AM.


Inclusions

  • Access to the Gym - with equipment such as the general’s pole, punch bags, kicking dummies, weights, parallel bars, chin up bars, gymnastics rings, and more.
  • Breakfast - The kitchen gardens and orchards provide healthy and organic food which will be collected and served fresh.

My mind got clear and I became physically fit thanks to the (pretty heavy but superb) daily programm. The warrior programm was balanced, build up perfectly. Besides Chi Kung I have learned the fundamental ideas and moves of KungFu. I am ready to come back!
