The Trip was so amazing, we booked a private tour just for the two of us. We travelled with a private car which was way compfortable. Besides the Guide was focused only on us which was great, he was very Knowledgeble and Anwärter all our extra questions. During the Tour we saw all the Pyramids and Sphinx with plenty of time and no Rush at all. Would recommend it to everyone. We felt very Safe during the Trip and had plenty of fun

Fantastic day and would like to thank Fahmi for being such a wonderful guide, I would strongly suggest taking he’s advice and hiring the camel / carriage ride to the Rama viewpoint where the best photos can be taken. It’s a long day but definitely worth it

The excursion was absolutely incredible - best decision we made as our hotel couldn't offer any comparable package for the same price. Our hotel only offered a two hour bus ride there, 3 hours at the Pyramids and 2 hours bus back for the same price! Book this tour instead you will not regret it. Best to choose a day towards the end of your holiday so you are adjusted to the heat. It's organised seamlessly, and providers can be contacted at any time for additional info. We were collected when agreed by transfer, return flights all smooth (take a day back and don't forget sunscreen and snacks! You can check in a bag too but you will not have energy to wait to collect on return to Hurghada!). Quick stop at the Ritz, guided tour of the Egyptian Museum and Fahme (guide) took us the the exhibitions first before the crowds come and some time to wonder solo. He will take you round the best bits. We stopped at a Papyrus shop for wall art - be ready to haggle. We had a 2 hour Egyptian buffet and far better than your hotel but similar foods. We had 3 hours guided round the Pyramids and Sphinx - but first a carriage or camel ride to get incredible photos! Quick stop at a perfume/oil shop but we were too tired so stayed on the bus, then a short boat ride up the Nile. This is £10 per person extra but we were so glad for the cool breeze and a chance to relax after. On the way to the airport we stopped high up to overlook Cairo at sunset which was incredible!! Fahme was exceptional as a guide and made the whole day perfect 👌he went out of his way to include everyone (his English and Russian was very impressive!) and we couldn't have seen any more of Cairo if we tried. Only downside was by the time we reached the airport the Burger King was taking 40 minutes per order and so we were so hungry getting back to Hurghada. Even with taking a few snacks! Brilliant and memorable day, best way to see Cairo 🌟

The trip was great! our guide Fahme was friendly and very knowledgeable both in the Egyptian Museum and around the Pyramids. He looked after us all day, and always ensured we were having an enjoyable experience. Pros - Egyptian Museum Tour with Fahme - Tour of Pyramids with Fahme - Nile River cruise (£10 extra pp but very relaxing at the end of the day) - Papyrus shop visit - short enjoyable demo, shop owners weren't too pushy for a sale. - Quality of food during lunch - Short sunset walk near a vantage point overlooking Cairo, a nice place for the group to reflect on the day with spectacular views. - Logistics and general comms from Book Tour Egypt prior to departure. Cons - Chaotic lunch restaurant, filled with other tour groups meaning it was hard to move, and we were asked for drinks payment before we had even finished our lunch. - Carriage ride close to the Pyramids, sold to us by the guide beforehand (£10 each), but only really for those who want cheesy photos, the carriage owner was also pushy for a tip, avoid and wait near the van for 30 mins would have been our preference as it doesn't add to the Pyramid experience. - The second shop visit in the afternoon, many of the group were tired from the sun and we were told we had to visit a second shop when we just wanted to use a WC, many of us used the WC quickly and returned to the van ASAP. Two shop visits in a day was too much. Overall definitely worth the money - thank you Fahme, our driver Muhammad and Book Tour Egypt.

Absolutely loved this trip. One to remember and it was all planned so perfectly and smoothly. We were able to relax and felt completely safe with our very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. The day was planned really well with lots of interesting trips including the Egyptian museum, lunch paid for in a buffet restaurant, a boat cruise on the Nile, the pyramids area, a perfume shop and a papyrus shop. The buffet lunch is very busy but well organised and good selection. The tour guide has ‘people’ he advises us to use for photos/camel rides ect which made us feel safer and we were not pressured to pay for them or offer large tips. Boat cruise on the Nile is optional but highly recommend, it’s fun and relaxing. Good way to see the river and city. Highly recommend a camel ride, such fun and an experience I’ll never do again. When visiting pyramids, a word of advice - if you opt to visit the free pyramid. It’s very small and cramped so do not go in if claustrophobic, requires good physical mobility and fitness (crouching down the whole way) however it’s fun and an amazing experience nonetheless. The only advice I would say is bring plenty of dollars/euros/gbp for spending money as card machines are unreliable and they do not want egp £. Also. Be aware when visiting the perfume shop (king Ali palace) - excellent sales men and very friendly but they do definitely get you caught up in the experience and we quite easily parted with £80 and we don’t really know if the items we bought are any good… Wear sensible clothes and shoes. It’s very hot and dusty!

Amazing day and our guide Femhe was brilliant and very knowlegable, we saw all the awesome sights close up, even went inside a pyramid. Only downside was a long visit to a perfume shop then we had to dash across Cairo in really bad traffic to do the boat trip then only just made it back to the airport in time

The tour was as described, early pickup in morning, get packed breakfast. Airport security included manual frisking and taking off shoes. Short flight ascend and descent so seatbelt on all the time, they give sweet bread and a bottle of water in Egypt air with luggage but you don't need much for a day. Driver sometime guide are at airport, lots of water cold available for Trip included. Our trip guide was FAHYME, for English nice, caring guy, knows what he is doing. Cairo traffic reminded me of Indian traffic jams. Air-conditioned vehicle no issues. First stop museum, guide showed important bits and gave 15 minutes in end to ourselves. Avoid buying at museum shop, costly. Next lunch, typical platter with sizzlers. Take water from bus. PYRAMIDS- guide gave enough time to see and for Instagram photos clicked typical poses, great photos, again 10-15 minutes in end to see it/ OR if you don't take Instagram route over 30 minutes to marvel pyramids. Next stop the Sphinx, a bit rushed entry not included? Took us to perfume oil and papyrus shops, I was tired as with kid so slept there, YOU CAN ASK MORE TIME WITH SPHINX AS SHOPS WALKING DISTANCE FROM SPHINX AND SMALL GROUP next Nile river ride in boat, NOT INCLUDED EXTRA PAYMENT, OPINION DITCH IT, EAT SOMETHING INSTEAD. Next back to airport, security, water bottle and sweet bread. Late dinner in hotel. Verdict - must do if with kids. Save 8 hours in bus. Guide FAHMEY was good, took into consideration about limitations with kid.

A long day, pick up from the hotel was at 3.30 am, and came back around 11.30 pm. Not much of a museum person, however, it is a must & how they made the pyramids and sculptures is amazing.
