Our rum tasting experience features a partnership with the expert Romeliers at Oliver and Oliver, who will guide you through a selection of premium rums aged for 25 years or more. During the tasting, you'll have the opportunity to sample a range of exquisite liquors, including but not limited to Cubaney Centenario, Unhiq XO, Opthimus, and Punta Cana XOX.
The program includes an exploration of the rich history of rum and the Oliver and Oliver House, as well as an overview of the Solera Method used to craft these exceptional rums. You'll also learn about the essential components of rum, including molasses and sugar cane, and gain a deeper appreciation for the art and science of rum-making.

Pick up was on time and the ride to the area was smooth. Don't be alarmed when you pull up to what looks like a large tourist shop. Inside you will find souvenirs but it was a collaboration with the tasting . They also have a cigar room that many ppl enjoyed while waiting for tasting to begin. The tasting is very detailed and educational. The comfortable seating and air conditioned area make it even. You can purchase any of the rums you taste as well as a wide variety of others. They also have informal tastings of those and mamajuana. Highly recommend making this tour a stop on your visit to punta cana. Take pictures once inside the walls have the history of dominican rum

This was an excellent trip and informative. Our rum guide was Wendell and he's very friendly and playful with folks. The rum is very tasty and this was an ideal location to shop and get gifts for family members and friends. One stop shop really. Try the mamajuana! Would highly recommend if you want to get away from your resort for a few hours, but not sacrifice a whole day.

as someone who doesn't drink rum but my grandmother does I still found it to be very informative and in a lot of fun Wendell is a fantastic host and very knowledgeable and did his best to make us both feel comfortable.

Our experience at the rum tasting was absolutely fantastic! We had the opportunity to learn fascinating background information about Oliver Rum and had the pleasure of indulging in a variety of delicious rums. After the tasting, we were able to browse and shop for souvenirs, which was a great way to end the experience.
