Once you arrive out our location you will check in at the blue building located by the boat ramp. You'll need to arrive with a credit card and valid government ID in hand. You'll need to complete our waiver agreement and briefing video. If you were born after January 1, 1988 you'll need to arrive one hour early to take our boater's safety test. Your time will start promptly at the time you book so please make plans for these requirements. Our riding area is Choctawhatchee Bay. We do not allow our boats in the Gulf of Mexico.

Check in was smooth and easy. I appreciated doing it all before time. We had a little trouble with the boat safety course at no fault to rental company. Everything was great! Would definitely recommend!

Our family had a wonderful time. We had 5 adults, 2 teenagers, 1 infant and 1 toddler. The boat had plenty of space for everyone and storage for all the extras we brought to play at crab island. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. We will definitely come back!

Our group of 10 had a great experience renting on a Friday over spring break! We received a text the morning of to fill out our waivers so we were all set when we arrived. Simply had to set up the damage deposit (chose the $40 nonrefundable vs larger refundable hold) Bait shop had ice, drinks etc and chose to add on a lilypad for the day heading to crab island. Staff was super friendly. Would 100% rent from them again!

This was a family event that was amazing. The dockhands were friendly and helpful (tip them!). I'd highly recommend this place. Arrive early. Parking is plentiful, but the dock gets busy in AM!
Bonus: we saw dolphins!

We along with friends rented a pontoon on 9/5/2023. We and our friends have rented pontoons there at least 6 times at least twice a year.
I found on their website they offer a 10% discount for return customers. There is no place on the web site to get the discount.
We booked and paid at the booking time. I asked about the discount at the office when we got the pontoon. I was told we had already paid and you have to call or book in person to get the discount. That would be good information to put on the web site.
We were told the stereo would connect to Bluetooth. We have done that before many times. (One of the friends is a computer engineer) This would not work! We then realized non of the gauges including the fuel gauge worked. We ask when we returned and we were told by one of the employees that non of them work on any of the pontoons. How do you know how much fuel you have or at what angle the motor is trimmed?
When we left Crab Island the trim button for the motor would not work and the prop was cavitating and barely moving the boat. We called the office and they told us there was a trim switch on the motor if the one on the throttle didn’t work. They better be happy that I have owned several boats and knew we could not run the motor with the prop cavitating or it would blow the motor. When we told them about the problems we had we got an OH WELL attitude. This was the worst experience we have had with Power Up Watersports but we will not rent pontoons there again. They need to train their people to better inform their customers of the boat operation and check the boats out before they send you out. The condition of the pontoons and lack of customer service has cost them a customer that is about a mile away from them on Okaloosa Island and usually rents twice a year.

I have never been more traumatized in my life! Got caught in a storm and lost in the ocean trying to leave crab island. I've always been calmed by the sound of the ocean until now. There were 9 of us and what started off as a beautiful bright day turned dark and very scary! It started lightening and thundering so bad so fast! I thought the pontoon was going to flip over bc they waves were soooo bad and water was coming in from all sides. The boat died on us several times and I have never been so scared in my life! I made everyone put on their life jackets bc I just knew we were going to flip or sink from the boat nose diving from the waves. As travelers we should have been warned bc we had no idea and those boats should have never went out that day by the workers! I know they can't predict the weather but they as locals should know the signs bc we sure didn't. I will never ever ever take my family back to crab Island or even on a boat for that matter!!!

The add on Viator was for a pontoon with a sound system and a Lilly pad which the pontoon that they put us on had nothing not even a working gas gauge! We called and were told that we would get a refund on the Lilly pad and 10% off from not providing us with a speaker!
We arrived to return the boat only to be told something totally different! We were also told that they were trying to stop using Viator for their business needs! We didn’t get a credit just the run around!!! Their boats are very tan down and falling apart! Not worth $575!!
