We were led by our tour guide, Sam, and driver, San, for a 2 day tour around the small and big circuits. Overall great experience with Sam being very detailed in his commentary of the history behind the temples, sharing interesting tidbits of info and being able to answer any questions we have proficiently. Sam was also very attentive to details and set about making the tour more enjoyable. He customised the tour to better suit the heatwave we were experiencing in May at that time, going first to Angkor Wat in the morning when it was cooler so we could look around the main attraction in comfort, before visiting the other temples in the afternoon. He proactively suggested photo spots and poses, and helped take pictures for us. Sam, the driver, also provided excellent service, ensuring we always had access to cold water and towels every time we were back in the car, and that we didn't have to wait for long when we were exiting the current temple to board the car for the next leg of the journey. Would highly recommend Happy Angkor Tour if you want a highly detailed tour with a professional tour guide and driver!

For anyone still on the fence about the 1 or 2 day temples tour, take the 2-days tour! One day is simply not enough to experience all the majestic beauty that the ancient Khmer civilisation has to offer. And we had the best experience ever - led by our tour guide Mr Sam and driver Mr San, we were ushered around the vast expanse of the park in the comfort on an Air Conditioned SUV; a godsend in the 42°C weather of May 2024 (when most of Southeast Asia was experiencing one of the harshest heat waves on record). Mr Sam never fretted about the heat and kept up a constant flow of information about the architecture, carvings, religion, and Cambodia in general - great for casual tourists like us who "don't know what we don't know". So it was amazing having a knowledgeable tour guide like Mr Sam who was very detailed in his explanations, and when we did have more questions he was able to answer them! Bonus points for the wisecrack jokes keeping us entertained. And double bonus points as he knew all the good photo spots and helped us take quite a number of fun shots. He was also instrumental in us getting front row seats to the Angkor Wat sunrise. Mr San was an excellent navigator. He took us safely around the park, piloting the SUV smoothly for us passengers to feel relaxed in the car. And when we came back from exploring the temples, he always had ice-cold water and fresh towels (ice-cold too) waiting for us, an absolute lifesaver! He also found the neatest places to park the car under shade so that the sun would never heat it up too much and so we always returned to a cool car. An unforgettable adventure definitely! And one that I am most delighted to have taken with Happy Angkor Your - especially with Mr Sam and Mr San around to make the experience all the more perfect! (:

Sam and San were beyond out expectations. Sam our guide was extremely resourceful, patient while explaining the details, carvings, sculptures and history un each temple. He took us to each temple while bring patience AND took us to diferente angeles to be able to admire the details and perspectives from multiple sites. San our driver was extremely helpful. Excellent driving, and "the devil is in the details": always opening the door, providing cold water AND fresh/cool towels that were highly needed, we visited when the city was above 100 F at noon. We has the opportunity to visita 4 cities before Siem Reap with Sam and San being the best duo.

The temples of Angkor Wat and surrounding areas were excellent and I enjoyed the experience despite the 39 degree heat. Our guide Thou and driver Bungay were knowledgable and very helpful. Thou even bought some glue so that I could mend my shoes which disintegrated in the heat. The two days were both enjoyable and informative thanks to our guide and driver.

Our time with the 2-day Angkor Wat tour with Jimmy as our tour guide in Cambodia was exactly our vision. The experience was exactly what was explained online. The experience was worth the money in every possible way, but the highlight of the tour was our guide, Jimmy. His kindness and friendliness put us at ease, setting the tone for a memorable two-day experience. Right off the bat, Jimmy's sense of humor added an extra layer of fun to our trip. His jokes and anecdotes entertained us during long drives and helped create a warm atmosphere throughout the trek. But it wasn't just his humor that made him exceptional; it was his depth of knowledge about the sites we visited. As we explored landmarks like Angkor Wat, Bayon (a now personal favorite!),Ta Prohm and ten other sites, Jimmy served as our personal encyclopedia of history and culture. His explanations of Hinduism and Buddhism, intertwined with captivating stories, enriched our understanding of Cambodia's heritage. He didn't just recite facts; he made everything more personal and magical, bringing the ancient sites to life. He also knew logistics like when to hit which locations before crowds showed up or which spots were better in the morning because of heat. Jimmy also had loads of patience and flexibility. He tailored our experience to suit our interests and pace, ensuring that we got the most out of every moment. Whether we wanted to linger at a temple to soak in more epicness or call it early because jet lag can be a bummer, he was willing to go with the flow. One of our favorite moments was when Jimmy guided us toward a very special spot in one of the temples. He mentioned how many people pass it because it’s a bit of the way or because they didn’t have the right information, but he knew we were going to love it. It ended up being a beautiful shrine to a queen that was decorated with gifts and incense. Other tourists continued to pass it without knowing it’s existence but because of Jimmy we got a special VIP memorable moment. Jimmy's talent as a photographer also elevated our experience. He knew precisely where to position us for the perfect shot. He even played around with my different Polaroid cameras knowing how special it was for me to have momentos. He did it without an ounce of doubt. Thanks to him, we have a stunning collection of photographs that capture the essence of a trip to the different monuments. We would book Jimmy for future adventures in Cambodia in a snap. His professionalism, expertise, and genuine passion for sharing the locations make him an invaluable tour guide. We will enthusiastically recommend him to all our friends who express an interest in visiting Cambodia, knowing that they will be in the best possible hands. We also have to give a shout out to Jimmy’s driver, Hi, who constantly kept us safe on the roads and hydrated with plenty of water and cold towels in the trunk of the car. Life saver, really! We feel incredibly grateful and fortunate to have had Jimmy as our guide. His wisdom, enthusiasm, and warmth enriched our journey in ways we never imagined possible. He didn't just show us the sights; he enlightened us, leaving an indelible mark on our experience. Thank you, Jimmy, for a truly unforgettable experience.
