Here you can also spot seals swimming around the ice chunks or resting on surrounding beaches

Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Fellsfjara, Diamond Head Drive Glacier Lagoon Jokulsarlon, Jokulsarlon Iceland
Just a few hundred yards away from the Glacier Lagoon you will see the Diamond Beach, that gets its name from the countless sparkling fragments of multi-colored icebergs found here. They are slowly being sculpted into fantastic shapes by the wind and the waves on this black sand Atlantic beach.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Vatnajokull National Park, Vatnajokull National Park, East Region
Last but no least - the true highlight of this tour awaits you! Blue Ice Cave expeditions starts with superjeep ride towards natural ice cave. The Blue Ice Cave really shows the tremendous forces of Icelandic nature, as they are formed naturally in glaciers when fresh water freezes in the plunging winter temperatures. New caves are created every year as the glaciers freeze and melt and refreeze into different shapes. It’s a memorable sight to see, with fabulously different ice formations in a range of striking colors. Our local guides will take you to the most beautiful blue ice caves to be found here. Once you’ve been there, that single blue ice cave might never exist again, so this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

After we have made our way from the Blue Ice Cave back to Jokulsarlon, we’ll return to the capital city, with a rest stop in Vik along the way for refreshments.

I definitely recommend this tour, it was awesome. Everything was great thanks to our tour guide Mika. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about Iceland that he passed it on to us. He took us to more sites than were scheduled and that made the distances hardly felt. All the sites we visited were wonderful and we had plenty of time to enjoy them. I loved everything, but especially the ice cave and walking on the ice to get there. Being on the tour reminded me what an adventure life is... it was an unforgettable experience.

This tour hits so many amazing stops! Huge waterfalls, amazing mountain and water views, drive through old lava fields, ice cave with an amazing drive across Iceland’s largest glacier, diamond beach, glacier lagoon and the famous black sand beach. Walter was an incredible guide who’s expert driving was needed as snow suddenly hit, he navigated like an expert and kept us all safe while still making sure we got to see all this tour could offer. He was lively and has a wealth of knowledge of Iceland that is tailored to each group! The hotel was very charming, clean and comfortable. Such an amazing 2 day tour, don’t hesitate to book!

My husband and I joined Nice travel 3-day tour, and Walter was our driver and guide. He is a very knowledgeable person, provided so much valuable and interesting information about not only the sightseeing spots but more importantly Iceland as a country. You can tell how much he loves his home country and pride of being an Icelander. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants to visit south part of Iceland of this tour. Thank you Walter for your time and care during the whole journey.

This was a great tour. Our guide, Colin, really shared details about where we were that we wouldn't have known otherwise. His laid-back style, the microstops (15-minute stops at picturesque locations along the way), and the entire operation was just what we hoped for. Would definitely recommend.

Our tour guide Siddi made these two days memorable. He ran a very efficient, informative and fun trip. His local knowledge was super impressive and we stopped at amazing places, keeping to the timetable, albeit at one time very high winds made for challenging driving.
