Highly recommend “Machupicchu Latin America” as the best option for trip to Machu Picchu. Everything was organized up to the highest standards. Request Michael (not Miguel) as your tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, funny and passionate about what he does. Tip him well, he is the guide of all guides. Many thanks to the owner of this company Mr. Fredi, he will do anything to make your trip memorable.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Michael Flores (the absolute man!) did an extraordinary job as a guide with his profound knowledge of the sciences/nature and how he applied that knowledge to the Incan places apart of the tour. His strong rapport with the people at the places we visited heightened the experience ten-fold and provided us a more authentic Peruvian experience than with other guides. He is passionate about his work and it’s clear when you hear him talk about these places and crack jokes with members of the group. In Aguas Calientes, he knows many of the restaurant workers and will make sure you have a seat next to the window overlooking the water which is just one of the many things he did to go above and beyond for us. Others include the best spot and timing for Macchu Picchu to avoid the crowds and adding a few extra stops on the tour that added significant benefit to our experience (all without feeling rushed at all)! If you are coming to Peru and you don’t have this tour with Michael scheduled, you messed up big time. Frequently, he would say “me familia, come with me” when embarking to a new spot and I couldn’t have felt more like a family member when traveling with Michael. I hope he felt the same about the kid who was at risk of blowing away at the top of the Ollantaytambo ruins (one of our many jokes). We love you Michael Flores, and yes, we will be back doing the same exact thing. Until next time!

Phenomenal trip! Our guide, Gary, was very knowledgeable about the cultural and political history behind all of our stops. When he realized we were ahead of schedule, he made sure to take slight detours to make additional stops to other lesser-known ruins. He was very organized and kept us on schedule. The final destinations in Machi Picchu were definitely the highlight of my trip. Gary explained the reasons behind each of the ruins and artifacts and even showed us the best spots for photos. Highly recommend!

This tour was amazing! The tour guides were very informative of the history of the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. I wish I remembered their names so I could shout them out, they were wonderful. We learned so much that we wouldn’t have had we not taken this tour. I liked how small the group was that we were touring with, we met some really cool people. We booked this tour kinda last minute to make our trip through Peru go smoother, and we are so glad we did. I definitely recommend booking this tour, we loved it, worth every penny!!

We had a 5 day trip planned by Machu Picchu Latin America, and for 2 days were with the tour guide Gary. He was excellent and very knowledgeable about all the history of the sacred valley and Machu Picchu. Gave great explanations and also recommendations for where to go in Aguascalientes. He is also a great photographer and helped with getting group pictures.

This was a great way to see Machu Picchu, and everything was so well organised. We spent the first day in a small group of 7 and then split into smaller groups on the second day for Machu Picchu. This meant you got to know other travelers which was nice. Our guide Fabrizio was really great. He was funny, entertaining and very knowledgeable throughout the tour. He was also really friendly and personable which created a great atmosphere in the group. One thing we didn't know before is you can walk to and from Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes instead of getting the bus up or down. We didn't do this as it was raining on our way down but could be a good option for those wanting to do a bit of a hike. It's about a 1.5 hours each way. We also had a few hours to kill in Aguas Calientes on the second day. This isn't always the case as it depends on train times but there is a hot spring there so if you do have a few hours you could take swimming stuff to enjoy that. All in all a really great tour and would highly recommend!! Thanks so much to Fabrizio!

My mom and I had a terrific time with Alexis in Sacred Valley and Michael F when we were at Machu Picchu. Both guides were a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. The tour itself and planning made things easy for us and we really appreciated getting to sit back and relax while enjoying the whole experience.

Fabrizio was awesome! He spent a long time telling us everything about Machu Picchu and helping us get photos :) he is an expert photographer. It was a bit weird that the group was put in different hotels, meaning it was difficult to meet up for dinner or things like that. And I think the description should remove ‘sunrise’ since the entry is 7am and sunrise is at 5:50am. Still amazing, but a little misleading. Thanks!!
