Day 1: Kigali city tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Stop At: Volcanoes National Park, Musanze Kinigi, Ruhengeri Rwanda
This tour starts with an early morning pickup by our company representative from either a hotel / Kigali International Airport for a transfer to Volcanoes National Park, Musanze province. On your way, engage in a Kigali City Tour taking you through Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site before proceeding with your drive to the park. On arrival, proceed to your lodge check in; dine and rest for overnight at The Garden Place(Budget), Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge/ Davinci Gorilla Lodge(Midrange) and Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/ Five Volcanoes Gorilla Lodge(Luxury)

Stop At: Kigali Genocide Memorial, KG 14 Ave, Kigali Rwanda
The Kigali Genocide Memorial commemorates the 1994 Rwandan genocide. The remains of over 250,000 people are interred there. There is a visitor centre for students and those wishing to understand the events leading up to the genocide of 1994.

Kigali is the capital city of Rwanda, roughly in the center of the country. It sprawls across numerous hills, ridges and valleys, and has a vibrant restaurant and nightlife scene. The Kigali Genocide Memorial documents the 1994 mass killings in Rwanda, associated with the country’s civil war. Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trek in the Volcanoes National Park
Stop At: Volcanoes National Park, Musanze Kinigi, Ruhengeri Rwanda
What is gorilla trekking?
The experience is all about getting up close with the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitats. Gorilla trekking entails all day search and interaction for mountain gorillas. The encounter is reviewed as magical and the most wonderful wildlife experience in the world.
• What are the trekking rues and regulations?
At the start of each gorilla trekking day, travelers are introduced to gorilla trekking rules and regulations to ensure safety of the endangered gorillas and travelers in the jungle. The do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking include
1. Keep a distance of seven meters away from Gorilla Trekking Rules and regulations
2. Do not trek gorillas when sick
3. Do not throw rubbish in the jungle
4. Keep within your groups
5. Speak at low tone
6. Do not touch the gorillas
7. Avoid direct eye contact with gorillas’
8. Avoid flash light cameras

The gorilla safari tour was one of my favourite this year. I enjoyed going on a hike and seeing different wild life on the way the to the gorillas. I would also recommend this tour to anyone willing to go on a new adventure since this is only offered in a few places on earth. Thanks to African Travellers for offering this service.

Trekking to see the mountain gorillas in Rwanda had been on my bucket list for years, JP and his team at African Travellers made it happen giving me a once in a lifetime opportunity. The two day package includes airport transfers, a city tour and your day at Volcanoes Park. JP will walk you through all the steps for the permit (not included) get you set up in a group of folks with similar backgrounds, helps you with the instructions from the guides and porters and is there to meet you on your return. You know you are good hands. Once you locate your gorilla family you get one hour to observe them before heading back. Don't forget to ask how you should dress, right down to hat and boots. You will need a COVID test and JP will set that up for you. Its free at the airport. The city tour emphasizes the 1994 Rwandan genocide which when fully understood makes you even more in awe of how far this country has come since then during what they call reconciliation. If you have additional time in Rwanda, JP can set you up with other game parks or cultural tours to your liking. There's lots of competition on the road to the gorillas, you can do no wrong in selecting Africa Travellers as your guide to some of the most fascinating creatures in the world, in one of the most beautiful countries in Africa. 2日間のツアー、ゴリラトレッキングとキガリシティーツアー、充分に楽しめ、良い思い出となりました。
キガリ朝8時着のフライトで空港ピックアップを遅延なくスムーズにしてもらい、そのままキガリシティーツアー実施。その後ムサンゼまで移動して1泊し、翌朝ゴリラトレッキング。こちらもスムーズでした。トレッキングは短いものから長いものまでレベル選べるようですが、私は1番長いのに振り分けられたようで、片道2時間トレッキングは長かったですが、1番大きいゴリラファミリーを間近で見られとても満足でした。シルバーバック1匹がこちらに向かって歩いてきて、避ける幅が充分になかったため、真横をすれ違う形になり、その際、シルバーバックが私にタッチしてきたのはとても良い思い出になりました。おススメです。
