White Desert National Park is a national park in Egypt, first established as a protected area in 2002. It is located in the Farafra depression, 45 km north of the town of Farafra. Part of the park is in the Farafra Oasis (New Valley Governorate).
The park is the site of large white chalk rock formations, created through erosion by wind and sand. It is also the site of cliffs (at the northern end of the Farafra Depression), sand dunes (part of the Great Sand Sea), as well as Wadi Hennis and oases at Ain El Maqfi and Ain El Wadi.
The highest point in the park is at El Qess Abu Said (353 m above sea level) and the lowest is at Wadi Hennis (32m).
The park serves as the refuge for various animals, including the endangered Rhim gazelle and the vulnerable Dorcas gazelle, as well as Barbary sheep; jackals; Rüppell's, Red, and Fennec foxes; and Sand cats.

Wake up from a peaceful and beautiful night, breakfast and return all over the road across the White Desert to Bahariya oasis visit the hot spring and break in our hotel then head off back to Cairo.

The tour is worth it. We had so much fun during this trip. The food is good especially the BBQ dinner. Sleeping under the stars is something that you wouldn't forget for the rest of your life.

Timing: The tour organizer Amir was very much on time. There was no delay during the pickup and drop off to my hotel in Cairo.
Guide : Our tour guide Hazem was an excellent and very funny guy. He always made sure that we are comfortable or needed any help. He was always there. I would recommend him very highly as a tour guide.
Food: The first lunch at Bahariya was ok. But it should be a little bit more hygienic. But the food that was prepared at the camping was delicious.
Camping: I have no complain with it at all. It was top notch. The beds were clean. The view was amazing.
Overall I would highly recommend

Great tour. Organizer knows english and organized the trip smoothly. The driver that went with us was also good and made good food during camping.

If you come to Egypt and you do t do this tour you lost the best tour. The formations are incredible. If you go ask for Mohmut he is the best driver and cook. 5 stars for this tour

The deserts are really beautiful and the views were breathtaking. But the best vibe was when we were sitting at the campfire with our amazing guide Hazem.
