Our knowledgeable tour guide, Oliver, was fantastic! The sights he showed us and the history behind each were most informative.

Of our 9 days in Nordic countries, this was the best tour! Period! Nothing compared. We did it towards the beginning and while others in other countries were pretty good, nothing was on this level. Ulaf spoke amazing English, was knowledgeable, very entertaining and funny. He really enjoyed sharing about Norway and Oslo. Got to see university, parliament, city hall, Opera/Ballet House, old and new parts, learned history. So much for only 2 hours! It was a fabulous overview of Oslo. Pointed out things I would have totally missed. It was well paced and good for any fitness level. It made us (my husband and adult daughter) just fall in love with Norway. We want to go back to Norway! Loved this tour!
Pro tip. If you just paste the meet up address into google maps it will take you to the back side of the law building at a nice park. It is not the correct spot. If that happens you will need to go through the university to the plaza in front of the law school by the city center area. Basically meet where the picture is in the tour listing. This happened to us and another family. We missed the first 15 minutes of the tour and were kinda frustrated.
Suggestion for Tour company: Perhaps send out a warning about this quirk since we are not the only family it happened to and a specific message and pic with the correct location.

Our guide, AnnaMaria, was a delightful, lovely person. She was so informative about the landmarks and the history of the sights of Oslo. She added lots of recommendations about great places to eat, get coffee, or find waffles! She answered all of our questions and provided the personal insight that makes this kind of tour so worthwhile. .
