With a local guide, we go in a group with a maximum of 12 people to visit magnificent sea caves and deserted beaches, after Check-in, the meeting and departure of the tour is in Praia de Benagil, after a short briefing and putting on the life jackets , we will visit "Algar de Benagil". You can swim and take magnificent pictures.

We had a great experience with Benagilkayaks and our guide Miquel and friendly approach of Sonia. Instead of going straight to the Benagil cave (like everyone else), we paddled in the other direction so we saw some beautiful “gems”. Beautiful caves, nice explanations and stories. The calm approach made us feel safe on the beautiful sea.

2 hour sea kayak was a great experience. Our guide Miguel took us to many caves including the Benagli. Highly recommend the tour

Important thing to notice : It is impossible to rent a kayak on your own (unlike what's written on the website) we expected to pay 15€ and rent a kayak for 1h30 but turns out the rules changed and they're now not allowed to do so. It's understandable but please, if you're the owner and reading this, remove this option from your website, it was quite a deception when we arrived to have to pay 70€ instead of 15. The tour on itself was fantastic (the caves are just incredible, the guide looks all super cool, the kayaks are great) the conditions weren't perfect at the start ; a bit of rain and cloudy, consider a whindshield / little raincoat to not be too cold, I was alright in a t shirt but if the rain lasted longer it wouldn't have been fun) and it was quite early (8:40am). We were only 3 kayaks on this tour and the place was completely empty compared to the crowds we saw at mid day the day before.
If you want to take the best out of this experience definitely go there the earliest possible.

Instructor was friendly and very helpful - great experience. 100% would do it again with this company - safety was prioritised whilst ensuring that we were all having a great time.

Bengil Kayaks were so relaxed and easy for our first kayaking experience together, Ivo our tour guide was especially good with his information and humour on the tour. Thank you all we had a great day!

This was a wonderful experience! Small group compared to other companies nearby. Excellent guide from the community who had great knowledge, patience, and suggestions. Highly recommend to anyone looking to kayak in the area!

Benagil Kayaks were great. The instructions for the meeting point were accurate and easy to follow. We were provided with a locked box for our belongings and a waterproof bag for anything we wanted to take in the kayak (water, phone for pictures etc). Our tour guide Ivor was great, he kayaked at a good pace and we stopped regularly for information about the caves. Ivor also gave us time to explore by kayaking for a while by ourselves and in the caves left us enjoy a break, take photos etc. We were fortunate that a few people in our group cancelled last minute so in the end it was just us two (a couple). This meant we got plenty of time to do what we wanted. 2 hours was plenty to get some kayaking experience, see the caves and take some photos. We would highly recommend if you like sports/to be active, it's a fun way to see and explore the caves. Kayaks can be a bit trying sometimes (communication is important!) but all in all we had a lovely time, thoroughly enjoyed.

This was the best part of our trip! We went at 6:30 PM and Eduardo was so great! The cave was completely empty at this time, it was just us. It was gorgeous and such an amazing experience.
