Itinerary
When you arrive at The Spit, you will find us in The Surf Shack, located behind the Seaway Cafe. Just walk down between the cafe and the amenities block and come in the back gate.
when you arrive we will have a few minutes to check in and receive your equipment before we go as a group down to the beach to start the lesson. If you arrive more than 10 min past the meeting time the class may have proceeded without you and it will be to late to join in as you will not have your equipment.
Then we head down on the beach the instructors will run through some important safety procedures and surf techniques before you hit the waves for some real thrills and spills.
The instructors will try their best to get some photos of you but they will not compromise your safety for a selfie so please follow their instructions carefully if you want good pic's.
after the lesson you will go back to the shack to view the photos then a few high fives and you will be on your way with a smile on your face.
To help us get you on to the beach as soon as possible please arrive on time, be wearing your swimmers and ensure you have completed the medical form via the link in your confirmation e mail

Lots of fun and a great few hours. Instructors were very knowledgeable and gave you lots of help and tips to stand up on the surfboard.

Very good teachers, very helpful! Get pictures at the end. Staff very friendly, give you the wet suit if need and a long sleeve top

Visited on my tour of the East Coast with Ultimate. Great beginners surf lesson this afternoon. Huge shout out to Emilio (hope i have spelt it right). Brought positive energy and good vibes!

Private lesson was terrific. Could not surf at all to start with. I wanted to learn to ride a wave and I ended up riding many.
Jason the surfing instructor is terrific and knows exactly the process to get you surfing and keep improving. I absolutely loved this experience and it’s the highlight of this year for me.
Got a second lesson two days later and learnt a lot again from Jason. I feel like I’m set to keep surfing now. Next time I’m visiting Gold Coast I’ll no doubt pop in again.

My daughter had a lesson with Jason and she can’t stop talking about how great it was. Jason was a fantastic instructor and put her completely at ease. If you go with a good attitude and trust your instructor there’s no way you’ll be disappointed

We're a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 7 and 9) from Hong Kong. We had a great time with the private surf lesson. The coach was very attentive and accommodation. Our kids learned to surf with the basics within 30 minutes! Adults had difficulty, the coach was very encouraging. We'd definitely try this again when there's a chance.
