Trekking Rinjani to Crater rim Senaru 2 days itinerary :
Day 1:
After an early breakfast we register at the Rinjani Trek Centre in Senaru (601 m) before commencing our trek. The trail initially passes through dense tropical forest. We stop at Pos 1 and Pos 2, pausing for rest breaks and snacks. At Pos 3 (2,000 m) we stop for a longer break for lunch. After lunch we continue the trek to the crater rim. As we climb higher forest is replaced by grassland and the trail becomes increasingly steep. We camp the night at Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m) with amazing views of the sunset, Mount Agung in Bali and the Gili Islands, the summit of Mount Rinjani, Lake Segara Anak and Gunung Baru, the small volcanic cone within the crater.
Day 2:
We enjoy the sunrise and a leisurely breakfast before commencing our return trek to Senaru. We pause for several rest and snack breaks on the way, stopping at Pos 2 for a longer lunch break. We arrive in Senaru at approximately 1pm, from where you will be transported to your next destination.

Ris was an excelent guide. Really friendly and helpful. The food was plenty and really tasty. The tour itself was exhausting but definitly worth it! The sunset and the stars at night were astonishing. I would definitely do it again!

We had a great time doing the 2-day, 1-night Rinjani trek with Rody. They handled all the details seamlessly, from transportation and setting up a comfortable camp to providing delicious food. Our guide, Rody, and the two porters were amazing, making the trip fun and enjoyable. Although the climb is difficult, the stunning views make it all worth it. We highly recommend Lombok volcano Trekking for this trip and would gladly book them again.

I am 58 years old, and my husband is 61 years old. We successfully completed the Senaru Crater Rim Trek, which lasted for 2 days and 1 night. The experience was incredible, with stunning views and delicious meals. The guides were exceptional, and the porters carried heavy loads with smiles on their faces. The warm and caring atmosphere created by these individuals left a lasting impression on us. I would enthusiastically recommend this company to anyone planning to trek Mountain Rinjani. Hike up Mount Rinjani 2 day 1 night crater rim was truly one of the best experiences I've had so far. Lombok Volcano Trekking went above and beyond in their service, exceeding our expectations. Our guide, Awan, was not only friendly and articulate but also knowledgeable about the mountain and had a great sense of humor. We even picked up some Lombok Indonesian phrases from him. While the climb itself was exhausting, the breathtaking views made it completely worthwhile. Awan always accommodating, allowing for a slower pace and rest breaks. The meals provided were delicious, including fried rice, fresh fruit, fried bananas, various snacks, hot Lombok black coffee, yummy spaghetti. The weather at the summit was chilly, and the ascent, even to the crater's edge, was quite challenging, so it's crucial to have all the necessary equipment, such as hiking sticks and sturdy mountain boots. Despite being two young-looking girls, my friend and I felt comfortable throughout the trip, indicating that Lombok Volcano Trekking is the best choices I would recommend to anyone who considering this adventure.

We took a 2D1N trip to Senaru Crater of Mount Rinjani.
The climb was simply perfect. The trail is beautiful but not too challenging, and the views are simply stunning.
We were lucky to have good weather.
We needed warm jackets and gloves, and the team provided them to us at no extra charge. Apart from that, the guides and porters were very helpful throughout the trip.
We highly recommend Lombok Volcano Trekking team to everyone.

We had an amazing experience trekking 2D1N senaru crater rim Mount rinjani. The guide Rody was highly informative, providing us with plenty of details about Mount Rinjani and the Senaru traditional village. The equipment supplied was of excellent quality, ensuring our safety and comfort. The trek was well-coordinated, with friendly guides who were knowledgeable about the trail and attentive to everyone's requirements. Additionally, we received great assistance from a skilled team of guides and porters. I would highly recommend Lombok volcano Trekking to others.

Special thanks to Anton for making it very special, the hike was lovely and you are looked after very well with 3 people per 2 tourist - 3 meals a day + unlimited snacks and water made the hike a lot more tolerable !

The hike is beautiful and completely worth it. Joe didn't have any issues with my last minute booking and arranged everything for departure next day. Anton, the guide, was amazing, very friendly, very experienced and very very helpful all the time. Satar, our porter, was always working hard for making sure everything went perfect. Both of them made my trip fun and unforgettable. Prepare to eat as much food as you have ever eaten in a hiking haha this guys never stop offering food. Completely recommend Joe and his guys!
