"You are really just going on this trip by yourself?" That was the usual reply when I informed friends and family about my upcoming trip. I would highly recommend this experience and this tour for anyone travelling solo. What a great group of people from all over the world that I am now privileged to call my friends! And did I mention our tour guide? Mr. Hugh Donald Mackay (The Piping Tour Guide on IG)...he's as original as they come. You could sense his love for Scotland and especially the Highlands from his stories, jokes and through the songs he played for us. Thank you Hugh for creating memories that I'll never forget!

We took the 3-day tour of Isle of Skye after a thorough research. Hugh was our guide/driver.
The trip was amazing, well-organized, rich in various activities. The highlands were absolutely stunning.
Hugh was the cherry on the top. He is really kind, he made sure we’re happy and comfortable all the time. He told stories about everything we saw, even on things we saw on the way. He drove quite carefully for 12+ hours in difficult roads of the highlands, but always cheerful and full of joy, telling jokes, and sometimes, sometimes, they were funny 😝 (just kidding Hugh you’re the best!) And to top it all, he played the pipes in the most dramatic location! Check his instagram, he is indeed The Piping Tour Guide! (@hugh_hextours)
But really, it’s a great trip, we made new awesome friends and we’d do it again in a beat.

We had an absolutely incredible time on this tour! It was the perfect length and we felt like we got our money's worth. Chris was a fantastic tour guide- extremely knowledgable, a safe driver, and very kind and funny. As a person with gluten intolerance, I was nervous about my food options on this trip, particularly throughout more rural areas. However, I was pleased that there were safe, celiac friendly options at every stop!

We had a great 3 day tour to Inverness and aisle of Skye with Paul as our guide! We were able to stop at a ton of photo spots and experience all the beautiful scenery of the Highlands.
Paul gave lots of great recommendations along the way, and navigated all the dicey Highland roads with ease. I’d recommend this tour to everyone!

The tour would be much more efficient if one night was spent in the Isle of Skye rather than 2 nights in Inverness even though the Inverness accommodation was fantastic. A little more historical detail would be nice. A great tour overalll

Just came off of the 3 day tour and it was SPECTACULAR! Loved the amounts of stops and photo ops (including feeding hairy coos!!!) but the real treat was our driver Wee Stevie! Wonderful, informative, and funny! Clearly LOVES his job! Felt very safe and taken care of, he even arranged to drop me at a train stop that made my commute to Glasgow infinitely easier and faster! Couldn’t recommend this trip enough, and ask for Wee Stevie! ❤️

The guide Broddy was so informative, took personal interest in explaining and making us all very comfortable during the trip. His youthful enthusiasm is highly appreciated and commendable. We have travelled all the way from Auckland and enjoyed every bit of the experience.

My sister and I came for a vacation and wanted to enjoy the beauty of Scotland. Our guides/driver Stefan and Brodie were amazing and very knowledgeable. It was amazing getting the Scottish history and legends while seeing these beautiful places in the highlands. It really added to the mystique. Our only minor critique was it would be nice to have a rough itinerary the day before bust so we can prepare better with clothing, shoes and snacks. A relatively minor thing considering how much fun the 3 Day highland experience was and how intelligent and funny our guides were. Thanks for an amazing trip!
