Towering over a new canal extension which links the Forth & Clyde Canal to the North Sea, The Kelpies are the result of a unique collaboration between the partners and Glasgow-based artist Andy Scott. Prepare yourselves for an educational, entertaining and natural beauty emersion into the wonders and beauty of the highlands of Scotland. You also might want to practice and prepare your singing voices and classic tune lyrics. On this three day, two night excursion you will not sit back and stare out the bus window! This is a proactive tour that requires and motivates your sense and history of Scotland. Guide Brian Smith brings a wealth of historical and natural world knowledge of Scotland together with an unflinching patriots perspective. The strife of the Scots and their historical quest for home freedom and rule mesh with the landscapes stunning isolations and stark, sweeping, stunning beauty. There is a lot to experience in the highlands and this tour puts you in face to face contact with much of it. Archaic Stone Age sights, battlefield and museums, Isle of Skye and the grittiness of Inverness and the isolation of Portree. Comfortable and safe buses with limited numbers of people ensure a dramatic and personal experience. A great return of value and a friendship with Scottish character. Highest recommendation and Brian thank you so much.

I went with my wife and friends on this 3-day tour through the Isle of Skye and Inverness Highlands, and it was an absolute blast! Michael was an unbelievable tour guide and driver; I still can't believe he did the job of 2-people by himself, and he did it so well! We saw so many beautiful sites, had fun meeting new people on the bus, and ate delicious food throughout (take Michael's food and drink recommendations...and ESPECIALLY get the meat pies from Mohr Bread!!) It was nothing but fun and laughs for us. I highly recommend booking this tour and try to get Michael if you can! He really puts the tourist's experience at the forefront of his tours. I can't believe 3-days went by so quickly!

Our driver/tour guide, William, was AMAZING. Not only was he a very adept driver, he was a fantastic storyteller with a witty sense of humor. He was knowledgable and personable with great suggestions. The tour itself was fun. We enjoyed feeding the hairy cows, seeing the breathtaking views of the Isle of Skye, hanging out in Inverness, and all of the historic tidbits.

It’s been the best tour I had in my life. Brian Smith guided us through the beautiful highlands as a true Jack Sparrow. He is an experienced driver and super funny guy, moreover he perfectly knows how to engage the audience with his interesting speeches about Scotland. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were extremely pleased with our 3-day Isle of Skye trip with John and Peter. Both gentlemen were extremely knowledgable about the sites, the countryside, Scotland's history and the routes taken each day. We saw so many sites, learned so much about Scotland and all the while were comfortable as we traveled all around the Highlands of Scotland. We felt that we had the perfect amount of time at each location to experience the culture and sites. We have a new found love and appreciation for the country of Scotland, all because of this tour. We would HIGHLY recommend the Hairy Coo Tour Company to anyone looking to visit Scotland!

Michael of The Hairy Coo was our tour guide. Let me start off by saying I've been to 47 countries through 30 international trips. Michael was one of the best tour guides I've ever experienced, and I know my tour group also felt the same way. We did a 3 day Isle of Sky tour from Edinburgh/Inverness. This guy has a passion for this job, and it shows. Constantly keeping us entertained. I hope others get the chance to experience a tour with him before he leaves (he's getting married!).
