3 Day Private Tour Blue Mountains ,Gold and Wine Tour

Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Sydney- Blue Mountains Katoomba - Sofala - Hill End

Stop At: Blue Mountains, Blue Mountains, New South Wales
We spend the morning exploring the spectacular Blue Mountains. Stopping at Katoomba you will see the famous 3 sisters and have the opportunity to have a ride on the Scenic Railway or the Sky Way (additional cost ). Later we will grab some lunch (not included).
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Sofala, Sofala, New South Wales
After the Blue Mountains we head out west and end up at the historic Sofala an original 1850s Gold Rush Town. Learn about the history of the area and go for a wander around to explore the area and local characters.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Hill End, Hill End, New South Wales
We arrive at Hill End Lodge our accommodation for the next 2 nights. Dinner is at the lodge restaurant (not included ).

Day 2: A Day At Hill End

Stop At: Hill End, Hill End, New South Wales
After breakfast the fun begins ! We go gold panning and yes you do keep whatever gold you can find. I have all the pans and equipment for everyone to have a go. I also have over 20 years experience prospecting for gold and I will teach you how to pan. Tip : Wear your old clothes for this one. It can get dirty (but that is half the fun).

Stop At: Hill End, Hill End, New South Wales
After lunch we go to History Hill (tickets included) a museum and underground gold mine. Learn about the history of the area and the see a large collection of artifacts.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Hill End, Hill End, New South Wales
The afternoon is free time. You can wander around the town and explore or maybe you just want to take it easy back at Hill End Lodge sitting in the sun reading a book with a glass of red wine. Or if you already have gold fever from the mornings panning session I can take you back to the creek for an afternoon pan.

After Dinner star gazing . If we have a clear night this is one of the best spots in NSW to watch the stars .
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 3: Hill End - Mudgee - Sydney

Stop At: Hill End, Hill End, New South Wales
Last morning in Hill End and its up to you what we do. Options are ;
One last panning session.
Just take it easy and hang around the Hotel
Go exploring in my car to see some of the local highlights
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Mudgee, Mudgee, New South Wales
Mudgee is a famous wine area of Australia and we usually spend some time exploring some of the fantastic vineyards with wine tastings and lunch at one of the vineyards (lunch not included) or if your not interested in Wine we can just explore the town and local area.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Sydney, Sydney, New South Wales
Return drive to your hotel at Sydney . Depending on time .We can stop off at some of the spectacular waterfalls in the Blue Mountains on the way home.
Duration: 4 hours
