Because they are nearby, we were able to visit not only the Lama Temple, but also the Confucius Institute and the Imperial College, and a nearby hutong as well. My guide managed it all calmly and professionally. I appreciated that she picked me up at my hotel and returned me there at the end and I was happy to pay the Didi taxi fares. It was a great way to spend my first morning in Beijing.
