Flying has been one of humanity's most sought-after dreams, being the subject of fascination, passion, and fantasy. On this tour, you will have the chance to experience firsthand the magnificent feeling of flying without the help of an engine. Those who try it often find themselves hooked on the experience. Paragliding is a unique activity that makes mankind's desire of flying real, giving you the opportunity to appreciate the beautiful landscape while you linger and navigate gently through wind currents.
The trip starts at 8:00am from your hotel. Your driver will take you to La Cabaña Alpina, in the nearby village of Sopó (located an hour drive from Bogotá) to try one of the many dairy products of the region. From there, you will be transported to the launching pad. When the winds allow it, you will run - accompanied by an expert pilot - on a tandem and softly rise in the air using the thermal streams. For 20 minutes you will enjoy a fantastic flight, with Bogotá’s Savannah and the Andean landscape at your feet, as well as the Guatavita Lagoon in the distance.
After the flight and back on land, our driver will take you back to your hotel in Bogotá.

Participants must be at least 15 years old to join this tour. Participants between 15 and 18 years old must have a permission letter signed by their parents or legal guardian.
The flight depends on the weather. You must have enough time do to this activity. If it's no posible to do the activity, we will refund the 70% of the money.
Video recording and pictures of the flight via a GoPro are available. Ask the pilot for details
This tour includes an insurance. Please send Passport number by the time of booking to make the insurance effective.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

La experiencia fue maravillosa! La sensación del vuelo, de la altura, de la libertad, la emoción... Todo esto inolvidable y se queda conmigo para toda la vida. La única recomendación es mejorar la coordinación entre las partes involucradas. Nos hicieron esperar mas de 2 horas solo por falta de comunicación. Pero al final todo salió muy bien y sin duda valió el esfuerzo.
