Right across the port of Agios Nikolaos you can visit the uninhabited island of Agioi Pantes. The island is a natural breakwater for the port of Agios Nikolaos. The church of Agioi Pantes, which gave its name to the island, is located at the top of the island. The island is a shelter for the endangered species of Cretan mountain goats, called “Kri-Kri”. You can enjoy amazing dives in the island’s white-sand beach
You can admire Spinalonga island up close. This beautiful island is located across Plaka village, 800m off the coast. When the Venetians occupied Crete, they built a fortress on the island, which survives to this day. Spinalonga served as a leper colony from 1903 to 1957. It is a remarkable monument of World Cultural Heritage and is worth visiting! The island’s history was a source of inspiration for many movies and Victoria Hislop’s best seller “The Island”
Ideally, you can combine your excursion to Spinalonga with swimming in Kolokytha, one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete. Its turquoise-dappled waters will amaze you. Don’t miss the pathway that takes you from the beach to the church of Agios Loukas and the Byzantine chapel of Agios Fokas, which was built to honour the Emperor Nikiforos Fokas for the liberation of Crete by the Arabs in 961 A.D
We also recommend sailing towards Agriomantra, a beach that is found at the exit of Agriomantra’s gorge and is of outstanding natural beauty. Tamarisk trees offer natural shade, while there are barbecues and benches to have a picnic on the beach

We had an amazing 4 hours private boat. George and Nicos gave us the info and helped us learn the ropes.
It felt they were organized and everything went very smooth.
The boat had snorkeling gear, life vests and soft drinks. We drove it all the way to Spinalonga and back, while stopping to snorkel in the recommended spots on their GPS and map.
A perfect way to explore the Elonda’s bay and gorgeous coast line.
Highly recommended!

I did a 8h rental boat without captain .
The team welcomed us very well, provided the app to sail around for the day , recommended a good restaurant close to spinalonga and recommended few areas to stop by …. It was beautiful

Booked via WhatsApp. Website was a bit iffy. The guys were brilliant. Great brief, got us to download a navigation app and have us down advice on destinations. Quick training course and we weee off. Stopped i 4 places over our trip. Swan where no one can’t swim unless arriving by boat. Fantastic. Cost less than £300 with fuel. Amazing.

After a super-friendly and very clear explanation, we took an unforgettable boat trip along the beautiful coastline on a very well-equipped and new boat, including cold drinks, fresh water shower facilities, snorkelling equipment, clear sailing route application... So without any experience a safe and unforgettable trip. Highly recommended! Thanks!

We had an absolutely excellent time booking with Mirabello Boats. George & Nikos were incredibly friendly, professional and made our experience even better. They explained everything very clearly and made us feel safe and confident boating out on our own around the beautiful Cretan coastline and surrounding islands. The boats and facilities are first class, everything connects to your smart phone for ease of use, the boats and instruments are all brand new and you have a GPS app providing advice on places to explore and places to avoid, meaning you can really make the most of your time on the water. The prices are very reasonable.
I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Mirabello Boats again and look forward to my next excursion.
