First time visiting Taiwan. This tour allowed us to see other parts of Taiwan outside of Taipei. Shortly after check-in at Sun Moon Lake, there was an earthquake. Nothing alarming, just the room shaking for a few seconds. It felt like home 🙂. We hope the eastern side of Taiwan recovers from an earlier earthquake. We’d love to see that part of Taiwan the next time we visit. Our tour guide (Chia) provided some history for each town we visited and culture of the Taiwanese people.

Because of the recent earth quakes in eastern Taiwan (Hualien), our tour was revised to just western Taiwan. Our tour guide Alan Chou was excellent, professional, knowledgeable. We had a good time. The hotels selected were top notch.

We did this trip in April 2024. The trip was well organized, the hotels were all 5 star as advertised, the guide Michael was well informed and helpful. For those who don't have much time to book & plan, and want a quick glimpse of the highlights of Taiwan, highly recommend this tour. Unfortunately for us, we did the trip soon after the earthquake so missed the highlight of the trip which was Taroke Gorge (not the companies fault). Some days felt long, with nothing exciting to see, but all it all it was good. I also wish in some of the resorts/hotel , we got there early enough to enjoy the resort/hotel itself.

What a terrific tour! Very well organized, great guide (Michael), top notch hotels, and of course great sights. We normally are independent travels, it had considered renting a car and touring Taiwan ourselves, But we have friends who did this tour last year, and just raved about it. It was actually very nice to just sit on The Big comfy bus and let someone else do the driving and take care of all the arrangements, The tour hit all the major cities and famous sights, all the way around the island, in 5 days and 4 nights. 3 hotels were 5 star and 1 was 4 star. Each had a great breakfast buffet included. Lunch and dinner was on our own but Michael always recommended great local places. Each day included visiting many different places. On Thursday and Friday when we got to Taroko national Park they were doing a lot of road construction. The guides coordinated things and were able to rearrange the order which we saw things. We got to see everything in spite of all the road closures. BTW, our tour was 2 weeks before the big earthquake

Great whistle stop tour of Taiwan with accommodation in 5* hotels. It was my first time in Taiwan so I really enjoyed being ferried around. We had an adjusted itinerary due to the earthquake a few days previous so there was a bit more bus time than normal but Michael brought us to some lovely locations on the East coast that we would not have seen under normal circumstances. You’ll see lots of temples, alleys, street food and nature - it’s a nice break from the cities. Michael Ma was a great tour leader which resulted in a nice balance between providing information and allowing us to wander on our own to discover things. The driver did a brilliant job - especially with the extended drive times. Accommodation was very good with great breakfast and dinner options. A special mention for the spa in Hotel Royal Chihpen - it would have been lovely to have had more time there. It was my first time on such a large tour and I was pleasantly surprised how well it went. Thanks Edison for such a lovely introduction to Taiwan.

Eric Lin our tour guide was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were well accommodated throughout the trip. Though our route was cut short due to earthquake, Mr Lin and Drive Chen made sure we had some stops in the heavy after-quake traffic to get back to our final stop on-time. We enjoyed Taiwan and the safe and friendliness afforded by her People. The tour was conducted in english whilst some chinese references were also made to make sure we get the historical backgrounds. Can't beat listening to Vienna Teng's Green Island Serenade on the tour bus, big fan!! 5 star hotels and breakfast buffet is certainly the highlight as well.

This tour is worth every dollar from the well-planned itinerary, hotel selection and able stewardship of our tour guide, Ciao and expert navigation of our tour driver, Fong. Ciao was fun to be with as his sense of humor added flavor to the long road trips. His personal experiences plus good information shared about Taiwan and its culture is truly educational. I have learned to appreciate Taiwan more and respect its culture because of this. My brother and I were fortunate to have a fun and cool group for this tour. We have made new friends which we hope we can be in touch with for the rest of our travel adventures in the future. Thanks Edison Tour for this wonderful experience! Thanks Ciao and Fong for taking very good care of us. This tour is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
