Overall we enjoyed the trip and loved the little towns that seemed off the beaten path. So glad we did this trip, just wish we didn’t have such a long drive back to London on the last day.

Our Guide, June, was incredibly knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for her, even suggesting and organising a group dinner. A great idea! The itinerary was good and we learned so much about the region and its history. A very enjoyable trip and well worth the money.

Our guide/driver Dean was kind, considerate and very knowledgeable on the history of all the places we visited on this 5 day tour. The meeting point was fairly easy to find, the coach was comfortable. This tour provides a good over view of the regions visited and provides lots of ideas for future adventures. My only negatives would be not having enough time in Tintagel to visit the medieval church and to hike out to the castle. Also, more time in Glastonbury to climb the Tor or visit Chalice Well in addition to the the cathedral ruins would have made this a 10/10 experience. My favourite of the entire journey was Dartmoor National Park - somewhere I will make an effort to visit in the future. I highly recommend touring with Rabbie’s. And great thanks to Dean for making the 5 day journey so enjoyable and informative.

This was our first “coach” tour, on a Go Tour mini bus. Driver Len was lovely and took is to some “surprise” places that were cool. He stayed polite and cheerful with a rather difficult group too! Bus seats were ok, a few said they uncomfortable, too hard. The tour gave a great snapshot of the Cotswolds and Cornwall stopping first at Stonehenge for a quick look (that’s all that is needed) then to Salisbury & Lyme St Regis. Each day was about the same, 3-4 stops, some quick some for like 2 hours, all interesting and beautiful. My word of caution is Do NOT choose the B&B option! White Hart Inn in Exeter is so gross!(dirty, old carpet, smelly bathroom and lumpy mattress) while Mercure Hotel is FANTASTIC! Lugo Rock B&B in Falmouth is Clean and hostess is lovely, but lumpy mattress again and Tiny shower. Still, WAY better than White Hart. While this was a great way to see a lot, you do give up the freedom to explore more or cut short when you want. Don’t know what the answer is to be able to see Cornwall, because driving on those narrow roads wouldn’t be an option for us either!

I was the only passenger who did not book directly with the Rabbie’s Company for this Devon and Cornwall small group tour. I have been given the worst of the accommodation, at 81 years of age, second and first floor bedrooms with steep staircases. Many steps to the front door and going without two evening meals from choosing not to endure the long walks there and back to find somewhere to eat. Every other passenger received communication about their hotel choices and optional tours etc so I am quite dissatisfied with the way that I have been treated. The tour itself has been great and our tour leader is exceptional, so knowledgeable, informing us with her vast knowledge of each area.

What a wonderful experience. The tour is jam packed full of beautiful experiece, scenery and places. Wee were lucky to have Ambrose as our driver and guide. He is so generous with his vast knowledge of the area and history which gave relevance to many of the places we visited. Being a smaller bus Ambrose was able to take us many interesting side streets. It was a wonderful tour that I would recommend to anyone interested in visiting Devon and Cornwell.

Would recommend any Rabbies tour. They always have the best schedules, give you plenty of time at each stop. Their guides are all exceptional, knowledgeable of the areas and history and just fun to be with. The best one I have been on was this one. Beautiful and historical sites, John was the best guide we could have asked for. Can’t recommend these tours enough.
