Our Nightly Manta Ray snorkel is a portal to a realm rarely witnessed by human eyes. With custom-made high-intensity LED light boards, we invite you into the nocturnal playground of these gentle giants. Imagine floating weightlessly as the Manta Rays glide elegantly through the darkness, inches away from your awe-struck gaze. With wingspans of up to 16 feet and weighing up to 1,600 pounds, it’s truly awe-inspiring, but safe as mantas have no teeth, stingers, or barbs. They are filter-feeders and are here strictly to gorge themselves upon microscopic plankton attracted to the lights.
Before the adventure begins, you’ll receive a safety and Manta Ray briefing, ensuring you’re prepared for this otherworldly encounter.

Our trip this evening was unforgettable. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous, and gave us individual attention. We would come back for sure for another tour. The boat was very safe and see worthy swimming with the manta rays was unforgettable.

If you haven't experienced the night mantaray snorkel, it's a must do activity on the big island!! Just WOW!!! I highly recommend going with Hawaii Marine life charters!!! Capitan Brian was very helpful and professional!! 5 stars all day!

ABSOLUTE best company in Kona. Look no further and book your tour. I have been visiting Hawai'i for 10 years and go with different companies each year. Brian and Natsuko are hands down my favorite. I will be going with them every year. They are knowledgable, fun, and safe. I felt right at home on their boat and left feeling like they actually cared about my experience. I wasn't just a number. This is not the 1st time our family had enjoyed the wonders of a manta ray dive in Hawaii, but it was the best experience we have had.

We didn't actually get to go on the manta ray snorkel with Brian. My family and I had signed up with Brian, but he had some cancellations and couldn't sail that night. Instead, he arranged for us to sail on a friend's much larger boat that same night. Brian met us at the dock that night and made sure everything went smoothly. Our manta ray snorkel was awesome, although I think sailing on Brian's small boat would have been even better. Brian is a great guy. He even loaned us wetsuit tops for the rest of our vacation.

Brian & Kelly were amazing guides sharing lots of s and fun facts! We loved the fact it is a smaller group so it felt special! Hot chocolate after getting out of the water was a special treat and warmed us back up! Bravo team! Will definitely be back!

It was amazing to be with the mantas. The whole time we were in the water, the manta rays were present. Captain Brian and Kelly were great. We also appreciated the size of the boat. It was an experience that will be retold for years.

Had a wonderful time travelling to the bay to see the Mantas. Along the way we had a spectacular sunset and the spinner dolphins beside the boat made it extra special. The process to get into the water requires a brave slide off of the side of the boat, but once in the water it was pretty easy. The water was warmer than we expected but having the supplied wet suits was good. Seeing the Manta swim below and beside us was quite an experience. Well worth doing this. Captain Brian and assistant Kelly were great and made the entire evening very pleasant and feel safe. Highly recommended especially if you want to have your own private group (4 or more).
