Great experience. Really enjoyed the falls and hiking through the jungle. Would definitely do it again. Only issue we had was that our driver stopped on the way back at a local hole in the wall where they make cigars and some home brewed liquor to try to drum up some sales. At this point we were very tired, and as the stop was not expected, it wasn't appreciated.

Our trip was cancelled 2 day in a row because of bad weather, which is fine. It’s not their fault. On the 2nd day, the guy offered us a city tour because it was his only other tour group with availability. We had just taken a city tour the day before, so we decided not to, and requested a refund. As soon as we requested a refund, he suddenly had availability for a buggy tour. I was confused because he had just told me he had nothing else. I should have know better, because once we agreed to do the buggy tour, we had to pay extra (since our trip was cancelled he should not have charged us more! He should have even given us a partial refund because a buggy ride wasn’t even what we really wanted to do). When they picked us up, we were shocked to be the ONLY ones on the tour. Yup. There was no group. Our tour guide was a 20 year old, and we were home before 10 AM. Don’t get me wrong, we had a lot of fun. But he lied about there being a group, gave us a poor tour guide, charged us even more, and we never got to see the water falls. I feel cheated and lied to. But it was a fun buggy ride :)

The waterfalls was the best excursion I've ever done. It was a trek to walk up to the waterfalls. Our guides were funny and made the walk go by faster. If you're looking for a thrill, this is the excursion for you. I would do this again and again. Virgilio was our driver for the day. He picked us up from the cruise port, he answered all questions, he told us about the Dominican Republic as we were driving. He took us on a tour after the falls. We saw how cigars were rolled, very cool! He even found my friend a coconut to drink out of on our way back to the ship. It was all she wanted on our trip and he made her day. We highly recommend this excursion!

Amazing excursion!. Pick up on time with a great driver. Falls were beautiful and loads of fun. Hike was quite the workout but worth it! The stop on the way back to tour various plants/fruit trees and cigar making was very informative. Bring cash! Highly recommend.

One of the best excursions I’ve been on! The waterfalls and lunch buffet were excellent! The hike was moderately strenuous and some of the jumps were big, so I would not recommend for those who are not moderately adventurous and moderately fit. The taxi and tour guides were very nice. They give you a bottle of water for your hike. All you need to bring is water shoes. The buffet lunch was unlimited and very good. Traditional dominican chicken and rice, also salad and vegetables.

I can’t speak highly enough of this experience. Booked through ViaTor in lieu of the cruise line saved us a little over half, and the experience was supreme. Personal driver instead of the tour bus, and our own personal guide. This man was amazing! We met outside the gates of the terminal and then he dropped us off at the trailhead with a waterfall guide he wanted us to have, not just the next one, which was awesome. The experience was superb. When we finished the trail, he was waiting for us and got us into lunch before the crowds came, and then since we had time left over, (since it was just 4 of us and not the whole bus full like the cruise), he took us to a local plantation where we saw what Dominican homesteading was like. We experienced home grown hot chocolate and coffee, fruits and so on that were unreal, all for free and not part of the prescribed tour. The pineapple, mango, and banana was the best I’ve ever had and grown like 30 feet away. I would do this your over and over again and can’t speak highly enough of the operator.
