This short, yet very romantic excursion will start at 4.30 pm, where we will pick you up from your hotel in Siem Reap, accompanied by an English speaking guide. A short drive will bring you to the embarkation point at Prasat Chrung for boarding your own gondola.
Khmer people have been known as skilled boat makers throughout history and several boats, including the boats used by the navy in a war to win a victory cover Cham in the reign of King Jayavarman VII. Twenty-nine of the ancient boat sculptures in the Bayon temple are seen, demonstrating the courage of navy in the King Jayavarman VII’s period. The archaeologists illustrate that the ancient Khmer boats and Cham boats carved in the wall of Bayon temple are the victories of King Jayavarman VII’s navy force over Cham’s navy in the war after 1177 A.D. One of these types of boats has been carefully constructed to resemble the fine artwork done in the past.
Stop At: Kongkear Angkor, No. 53A Street Spean Neak, Siem Reap Cambodia
Known as a ‘Kongkear Angkor’, this gondola is a unique Khmer tradition boat service in Siem Reap. You will travel over the holy waterway where history, nature and culture come alive. You will enjoy and view the past and photograph along with the great all of Angkor Thom, Royal Secret Path and City Guard Post.
You may also see the beautiful sunset at Prasat Chrung temple before returning back to your hotel at around 5.30 pm.

Return transfers for this excursion apply only / are inclusive for customers staying in and inside Siem Reap. Transfers outside these areas, including any accommodation outside this area such as Tonle Sap, Koh Ker, Banteay Srei and Siem Reap International Airport are excluded. Supplements apply for customers who want to join this excursion outside one of these regions.

To avoid any issues pertaining obtaining an arrival visa at the airport, please ensure that your passport contains at least two empty pages. Failure to do so may result in not gaining entrance into the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The entrance pass to enter the Angkor Archaeological Site is not included during this tour. Guests are responsible to purchase the pass, ranging from one day up to seven day entry passes at the main gate into Angkor. The applicable fees are charged in US Dollars only. The entrance pass gives access to all sights in and around Angkor and should be visible at all times.

We always will make efforts to confirm the exact pick-up time upon reservation. For any operational issues in which are not able to confirm the exact pick-up time in advance, we reserve the right to inform you the day before the departure of the tour.
Please note pickup and drop-off services may not be confirmed for customers staying at private residences, apartment complexes, or other non-registered tourism accommodations. Customers may be asked to meet at a nearby hotel for pick-up and drop off.
Natural elements of any kind have a destructive effect on electronic equipment. It the customer’s own responsibility to ensure that any camera, mobile telephone or other device is properly wrapped and protected against these elements. We cannot be held responsible in any way for negligence and/or not following suggestions for any damage related to this.
Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us on this tour – even when it is cloudy, the sunrays still have an immense power.
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 24 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 24 hours may be on request.
In the event of no-show or change of accommodation without prior consent and confirmation from us within 24 hours may result in the applicable cancellation charges as outlined in the terms and conditions.

We were collected at our hotel and taken to the gondola by a guide who accompanied us for the ride explaining some of the history of the location and of course of the moat around Angkor Thom. It was raining the day we went and they made sure we were dry and comfortable while we waited for the rain to abate. The moat was still and beautiful, and the colours of the red dirt and greenery were spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed our gondola ride and would recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

Wir wurden vom Hotel von Guide und Fahrer abgeholt. Der Guide hat sich nur darum gekümmert, dass wir den Angkor Wat Pass kaufen - der kostet 37€ zusätzlich. Bei der Bootsfahrt war er gar nicht dabei und auch während der Autofahrt hin oder zurück hat er uns nix erzählt!!
