Stop At: Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Ghana
Participants will go on a hike through the rain forest and walk on the Canopy Walk Way

Stop At: Elmina Castle, Elmina Ghana
At Elmina Castle, participants will have the opportunity to see the oldest European building (built 1482) in Sub Sahara Africa and also listen to the horrors of the slave trade.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Cape Coast Castle, Cape Coast Ghana
Cape Coast Castle served as one of the slave castles built on the shores of Ghana. It also served as the Administration center for British rule in West Africa. Participants will visit the museum and dungeons where slaves were kept while awaiting shipping to the New World.

The company transpiration was poor and created a bad experience. The first vehicle broke down and we had to be picked up by someone else to go part of the distance. The third car got us into an automobile accident. Thankfully no one was injured. We then had to be taken by taxi service to our destination. Finally a 4th car picked us up to take us to the remaining parts of the tour. The company needs to improve their transportation service of cars. Other than that the actual tour guide was nice and well informed but the main parts of the tour are conducted but guides who work for the individual stops on the tour.

I would like to thank Foster for the amazing day.
It was amazing how knowledgeable he was and how well he knew everyone wherever we went.
In addition to picking me up from my apartment, they dropped me off as well.
At any of the destinations, I did not have to wait long for a tour.
All expenses were included in this tour, so I didn't have to worry about spending money.
The places in Ghana were stunning and I enjoyed learning about them so much!
There was a lot of traffic to and from Accra but that was out of their control. I had a very comfortable, air-conditioned transport and a safe driver.
Don't be afraid to go solo like I did. It would be great to go in a group but do not be hesitant to do it on your own.
There is no doubt that I would recommend others to use their services.

Mr. Frank exceeded our expectations for this tour. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and had us in great hands the entire day. His vehicle is comfortable and the a/c is nice and cold. I couldn’t ask for a nicer tour. Being an American, he pointed out parts of my ancestors’ history as well. He is relatable, prompt and serious about his business! He even made an adjustment in order to accommodate me! He was so great that we booked the Accra City Tour the next day with him as well.

This was a great mix of canopy walks and an emotionally impactful and insightful visit to Elmina Castle and Slave Dungeons and Cape Coast Castle and Dungeons. My guide Jefferson was knowledgeable and paid attention to details in addition to being a very safe driver. He was flexible and customized the tour based on my interests. Highly recommend

The rainforest was amazing and adventurous. While extremely moving the castle tours were very informative and the tour guides did a great job narrating the story. The driver was nice and also accommodating.

The guides showed up right on time at the pickup location. They were very friendly. The tour itself was great! The ride was long but the guides kept us entertained.

We used Frank Doe Travels to make all of our arrangements while in Ghana. Frank took care of everything from transportation, tours, hotels, and entertainment. We had a variety of experiences as a group of 6. We felt safe and learned lots of historical facts about Ghanaian history and culture.
One of my favorite excursions was the Volta Region, where Frank was born. The plush and verdant scenery was quite different from the busy cities of Accra and Kumasi. Other unique experiences included the sampling of authentic Ghanaian cuisine, shopping for the 2ide variety of fabrics available, and learning to cook Ghanaian food and creating one-of-a-kind batik fabrics. Frank made all of the arrangements, and we felt safe and cared for the entire 2 weeks of our travel. I strongly recommend that you leave your travel plans to Ghana to Frank Doe Travels. You will not be disappointed.
