Acropolis of Athens Segway Tour

Our guide Rania was so knowledgeable. We proceeded at an ideal pace. Enough time to see everything but not rushed. And my Segway was absolutely flawless.. Thoroughly recommended.

A great different way to see the city. Got to see a lot of historic sites and places we never would have gotten to see had we not went on this tour. The tour takes you to the base of the Acropolis. It is separate to actually go up into the acropolis; Initially I thought this tour took you up in the Acropolis. Don't be intimidated by the segways, they are actually very easy to ride and you get a quick class on how to ride before the tour.

What a perfect way to take in the sights! This was my first time on a Segway and I was very surprised how easy it was! Our tour guide was the BEST! So much knowledge. We were able to stop for a few minutes at each of the main attractions to take pictures and soak in the views. Just what we wanted!! If you want to take time after this tour to go into the Acropolis be sure to plan your time accordingly. We opted to go and have an authentic Greek lunch at a cafe before heading back to the ship. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Exploring the Acropolis area with Segway saved us from lots of walk. Though the tour did not go into the Parthenon, but from outside we could see the surroundings & overlooked it from the Areopagus - Hill. Throughout the 2 hour tour, our guide showed us around Monastiraki Square, Plaka, Square Mitropoleos & helped us to took pictures. He was friendly but regretfully we forgot his name.

Was our first time on a Segway and it's really easy. The tour was very good and or guide very friendly. Really recommended it.

Very informative guide. No microphones and headphones just spoke to us at stops. Lots of segway action. Let us go earlier than our scheduled time. Was prepared for rain with ponchos.

We were the only 2 on the tour, so it was up close and personal. Our guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. This is the way to get around the acropolis area without all the walking up and down the hills. All in all, a very fun outing.

First time segway rider 😬. The staff did a great job at giving lessons & easing anxiety. After everyone was comfortable riding Katie whisked us away. Katie was very knowledgeable & an excellent photographer ( bonus for a solo traveler). Highly recommend the tour.

Our age range was from teens to mid 60’s and the Segway tour was perfect for everyone. Vicky was very patient in explaining in how to use the Segway and other staff members made sure we all had a go before the tour started and were confident in the segways use. Only 2 of us had been on them before. You can leave your large bags in lockers at the Segway shop. Vicky was an excellent guide, very informative throughout the trip which took us around the Acropolis and other places of interest and she was very knowledgeable about Greek history. There were plenty of shady stops and we parked up at various locations to look at the sights and partake in an ice cream at Divinci’s! You rode the Segway’s over a variety of surfaces but always felt quite safe and in control. An excellent 2hr tour to orientate yourself around Athens and so much fun! Far better than walking in the hot sun!
