Second Visit Did Not Disappoint! Another Fantastic Day Out! This was the second time of visiting Eagle Heights, and this years visit meant we had the pleasure of 2 falconry shows with Bradley. He is young, new to the role and incredibly knowledgeable! He was welcoming, engaging and answered all of my questions 😬 Having been a falconer when I was really young, I'd not been lucky enough to find a job doing it - we aren't located anywhere close enough for it to be feasible unfortunately! So it's great to have days out and experiences where I can share my passion and learn more! I highly recommend a visit! All the staff are extremely friendly. They have a lovely little gift shop. You can have an afternoon tea. They do a selection of sandwiches, drinks and cakes. There is a small play area too. The animals are well cared for and kept beautifully clean. Thank you to all at Eagle Heights for our day today, we had a great time!

An enjoyable and informative day out, I learnt so much. Parking was full on arrival, but they have a large overflow car park with plenty of space. Once inside despite being busy, it never felt crowded except after the show when many rushed to get refreshments and a queue formed (so get drinks in early). The birds are the star attractions, however there were many other animals in pens to keep young children interested. There are two flying displays daily and both use different birds, so if you stay for both, you won't be disappointed. Birds do fly directly overhead and you will get up close to all of them no matter where you sit. There is a small play area for very young children and plenty of picnic tables, however, you need to eat inside so as not to attract the birds of prey. This warning about food also applies to those watching the display, don't bring any food and don't have it accessible or the caracaras will take it, hurting themselves and you in the process. The view of the surrounding countryside was also impressive. If I had to find a fault, it would be the space allocated to each animal, which was limited. But knowing that the foundation needs visitors to raise funds for expansion, it's something to aspire to rather than a complaint.

Had an amazing day. The Eagles are so spectacular and we felt so privileged to be able to see them fly to us. Ron has a great knowledge of all the birds and was a great guide. Would definitely recommend booking the Eagle experience to anyone thinking about it.

We visited on a very blustery April day having bought a voucher that included afternoon tea. Being just after the Easter school holidays it was very quiet in the way of visitors. All the staff we had contact with were cheerful, helpful and clearly invested in making a positive visitor experience. The afternoon tea was well presented and I meant to take a photo but was halfway through before remembering! Animal welfare is obviously high priority and all creatures, feathered and furred, looked well cared for. There is a small children’s play area and the views over the countryside from the picnic area were stunning. I’m sure we will make a return visit.

We booked a visit, including a bird show, followed by a cream tea, until our visit we were totally Unaware this place existed, after finding it. We felt so impressed at the whole experience. We booked the same for other family members. This dedicated team (including the birds) really know how to impress us. The staff doing a wonderful job of caring for the stunning family of birds and animals Thanks

We where very lucky as someone had bought us the Eagle experience. It was incredible we spent 90 minutes full on with 3 different eagles and our excellent handler Ron. Prior to this we had been given a safety briefing and advice on how to hold the birds on the glove and feed them. There is no dangers with this experience but just good common sense with handling this type of bird. They were incredible creatures and it was a great privilege to spend this time with them. All had great characters and it felt at times they were talking to you and could even hear them panting. After this we had a complimentary hot drink and cake. Luckily we caught the afternoon demonstration and also had an enjoyable time looking at all the other animals.

Probably came at the wrong time of year for the full experience, cold and very windy. The flying show and talk was very informative and interesting. The birds looked happy and content in what they were doing. The rest of the animals looked well looked after alert. A great spread of birds and animals which kept the grandchildren engrossed throughout the visit. We will be returning…..

My son bought a VIP activity day for 2 for Christmas. From the moment we arrived our guide "M" was brilliant, and extremely entertaining. She is very passionate about ALL animal and birds. She was very knowledgeable about all the animals and clearly adored them all. We met the beautiful Huskies, hilarious pigs, and owls. We had a handling session with the cutest owl called Winston. We watched both the bird of prey displays, different birds at each display. The handler was great and the displays were very interesting. Would definitely recommend Eagle Heights, we had a great day.

Excellent visit my friend a warm welcome was received introduced to some of the animals husky puppies so cute . Informative display of the birds then experience with the cutest little owl . Highly recommended for a family day out
