08:00-08:30 Driver picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transferred to Ha Long.
11:30-12:00 Arrival at Tuan Chau International Cruise Port to join the check-in procedure.
12:00-14:00 Boarding Le Journey Cruise, served welcome drink & Lunch time in cruise restaurant.
14:00-17:00 Explore the Surprising Cave & Titop Island with swimming and hiking activities.

The Hera Grand cruise trip is excellent! Spacious room and bathroom. Good itinerary. Friendly and excellent service from the crew on board and Alex. Alex is especially helpful with our requests. We had a great time and enjoyed the cruise trip very much!

Amazing, such a lovely cruise. The boat is great the rooms feel luxury and are well decorated. Alex was brilliant and looked after us, along with providing great information about the itinerary and facts on the excursions. Would definitely recommend

Our room on cruise is spacious with a comfy bed. The staff were very tentative and professional. We enjoyed the foo very much with so many choices. I would recommend my friends t travel with Hera Grand Cruise when they visit Halong

The service on this cruise is what makes it a standout! The cruise manager, makes everyone feel welcome, a wealth of knowledge and is great for a laugh. He makes the cruise awesome! The staff are also great, friendly and helpful.
The food and lodgings are top-notch. All cruises seem to follow the same format. Swim at the beach, go to caves and kayaking. So activities wise there really isn’t much difference.
And Agent Tracy help us a lot through the trip. The most memorable experience in Viet Nam.

So i would like write down our absolutely disappointing experience with Hera cruise which we just experienced. Hera cruise company just tried to cheat us. We booked Hera grand luxury cruise on the end of February for dates 29.4-1.5. They picked up us in Hanoi this morning. We paid for limo bus and our baggage was treated as trash by bus crew. But it's different story. We arrived to ha long walked out from limo bus (no help with our league at all) and came to check in. On the table where our baggage was supposed to go has name Hera classic boutique. I stopped the man that it isnt our cruise and he told us that our boat has technical issues and they had to change our reservation to another their cruise (downgraded it) but they "kindly" upgraded our room to have private terrace instead of balcony. What would be nice but!!! The price of our booked room is right now $1875 (we paid $560 on the end of February) and the price of our upgraded room on degraded cruise is $633 now (would be nice to know how much it was on the end of February). Ok we asked them for discount and they offered of $50 discount and one soft drink for free such a kind of them... I consider this as huge cheat on us and we canceled whole cruise. Anyway the boat do not have technicals issues but its going through complete reconstruction (we saw the boat)

Fabulous crew, especially Dan who was really nice and helpful to all the passengers. I highly recommend this cruise. Only suggestion, the first day we boarded, we would have liked to have some time to admire the scenery instead of having lunch right away and starting with the activities.

When booking online, the room looked amazing (we had Suite with balcony) and I imagined myself soaking in that beautiful bath watching the scenery outside. In reality the room was smaller and less spectacular and you cannot take a bath (as I presume they have a limited amount of hot water on board), but only stand or sit in the bath to wash with the shower hose. For those with mobility issues, beware - there is a raised section of flooring dividing the bedroom from the “entryway” and another dividing the entry from the bathroom area. Also, do not leave your bath mat on the floor in front of the bath - I went to use the toilet at night, slipped on the mat and came crashing down.
The food on board is typical cruise ship food - sounds better than it tastes. Having said that, it was reasonable and we were not left hungry.
The staff really tried their best and were friendly- just let down by their lack of English language. Our cruise leader was better, but I still had difficulty understanding him sometimes.
Be aware that on the 2nd day, you spend a lot of the day on the “day boat”, going between activities. You have to pay for all drinks on board. Lunch was on the day boat, and average.

We went for the cruise on March 9th, it was unfortunately rainy and cloudy entire time. However we still had one of the best experiences of our trip on the cruise. We thank Alex and his team for amazing welcome, a great stay and spectacular food. We had a 3 year old with us, we were bit concerned as she is really naughty. But our daughter enjoyed as much as us. The entire crew was concerned about her well being entire time. Even provided kids menu for her, which was as amazing as our food and so nice to look at.
We really want to extend our thanks and well wishes to the entire crew. You guys were awesome.
