We attempt to visit the least crowded spots give our guests ample space to explore and ensure safety.

We had the best day of our vacation because of Dylan and Rudolph! Originally we were supposed to go to multiple snorkeling spots but because of the wind that day it wasn’t safe enough to go to all of them but that didn’t matter because Dylan and Rudolph still made sure our experience is one we will never forget. From feeding the tarpons, to the snorkeling we got to do, swimming with the sharks and stingrays, and basically having our own private beach to hang out at, every moment was so much fun. I highly recommend using this company. They are a small company who really cares about your experience and not just your money. Dylan felt bad about the wind after going out to the first snorkeling spot and offered us a refund because we wouldn’t be able to do everything on the original agenda but we declined and said we trust you just take us to where you think is cool and we would enjoy, and he did not disappoint!! We also got lucky being the only people who booked the tour that day so it was such personal experience. They are such good people and vibes and we definitely can’t wait to come back and do many more adventures with Black Lion!

My husband and I took a trip to Belize and our first outing was the snorkeling trip with Dylan. We're both 60+ and total novices. Dylan was extraordinarily patient and quick to help me when I got in a bit of trouble with my gear. What a pleasure to spend time with someone who is so excited about what he does. He's a great guide, very funny and a terrific storyteller. The water was beautiful and the reef amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our day!

This is a great tour! Dylan loves the reef and tried to pass his excitement on to his guests. I'm over 60 and new to snorkeling and Dylan took the time to figure out what equipment I was comfortable with and gave me plenty of time in the water. He didn't rush us. He also fed us and took great pictures, too!

Dylan was an amazing guide, very personable. We did not feel rushed, it was a full day tour with only one other couple on the boat. Dylan answered all of our questions and more. The water was gorgeous and snorkeling beautiful.
We fed the Tarpons, birds, nurse sharks and snorkeled at several stops. I highly recommend this tour.

Dillon was extremely personable and informative. His 5 hour snorkeling tour was amazing. I’ve been on many snorkeling tours in many different islands, and I’ve always felt rushed. Dillon gave us all the time we wanted at each designated spot. Lunch was great, and we had choices. He answered all of our questions and more. I highly recommend Black Lion Tours.

It was terrible, because the trip was cancelled at the time of our departure. I was communicating with the local contact that was supposed to take us on the tour earlier in the morning. As we were waiting at the boat dock expecting the tour guide to pick us up, they called the last minute and said the trip was cancelled due to engine trouble and a mechanic was not available to fix the problem. This was the only thing that we had planned for that day. As you are aware there is limited flexibility with time/schedule when on vacation. Although, this may have been a minor setback on their part, it was a huge inconvenience for us. They offered to reschedule the trip for the next day, but at that point it was too late. To not be able to have a backup boat or a mechanic on staff is unacceptable.

Black Lion Adventures was a great choice for us. Dylan provided a fantastic and customizable experience that we will always remember. He was informative and taught us a lot as he guided us through our various snorkling destinations. Jeffrey was super helpful as well. Over all, I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is interested in an authentic/beautiful snorkeling tour.
