Our first stop is Ephesus, famous in antiquity for its Temple of Artemis during the years of the Roman Empire, the Greek port of Ephesus became the greatest city in Asia Minor. You will start your Ephesus excursion at the upper Magnesia Gate, and work your way down through the city, ending near the ancient Harbor.
Along the way you will see the Forum, the Odeon, the Library of Celsus, the Thermal Baths of Scolastika and the Great Theater, built in the Greek era and reconstructed in the Roman period. It has played host to programs as varied as Paul and his sermons to the Ephesians, to concerts by Sting, in part due to its remarkable acoustics.
You will walk along the Arcadian Way, where once Mark Antony and Cleopatra rode in procession. You will hear stories of Alexander the Great, the Virgin Mary, and many other famous visitors who walked the same marble streets that you are walking.

Drive to the House of the Virgin Mary. The House of Virgin Mary is one of the pilgrimage center of Christians where Virgin Mary passed her recently time and died. Pope Paul VI visited the shrine in 1967, and ‘unofficially’ confirmed its authenticity. Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI has visited this shrine

Ms. Aleyna was a wonderful guide. She explained everything to our satisfaction and gave us plenty of time to explore Ephesus, Mary's house, and enjoy our fabulous lunch. The weather was perfect, which didn't hurt, and the food was generous and delicious. This was only one of the many excursions we took while on our 111-day world cruise, and it stands out as one of the best.

When I booked this tour, I didn’t realize it was a private tour. It was a huge surprise when the tour guide Ozge told me only my wife and myself in the group. Beautiful Ozge is excellent, competent, professional tour guide. I learned a lot about history of Turkey, Ephesus, and Kusadasi. Best of all, she can speak both English and Mandarin. Cost is very reasonable, much cheaper than the shore excursion arranged by cruise ship, in which you are in a group with dozens of other tourists.

Nesli was a fantastic guide providing interesting explanations at each site. The tour was nicely paced with time for photoshoot. Our driver was expert at navigation too. Highly recommend to take the tour!

Our tour guide - Sadettin Akbaba (Alex) was wonderful. He tailored the tour to our needs and pace. I highly recommend this tour but not the summer months...it will be very hot. Even in April, it is already startng to get hot. Wear a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses.

We had an amazing day in Turkiye! Our driver and guide met us just off the boat at the port and we drove first to the House of Virgin Mary. During the drive the guide gave us many interesting facts and information about Ephesus. Then we went to the the ruins and spent a good amount of time touring the site. Ms. Pinar was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed this site greatly. Finally we went to a place where we learned all about Turkish rugs and participated in a demonstration. They fed us an amazing lunch too! We had many excursions during our trip but this was by far our favorite. Our guide was so personable and enjoyable. She answered all of our questions and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Our children are 16, 15 and 13 and they were engaged and excited the entire time. Thank you for a wonderful day!
