Great visit. We spent a couple of hours here when visiting Innsbrook. Plenty to see and lots of information about all of the animals. Some steep hills which some may need to factor into a visit, but this was fine for us. Animals looked happy. Would recommend.

Lots of shades, clean cages and variety of animals. But the layout wasn’t done well, only German language info and needs map at each crossing.

The animals were all active and lively when we went and the conditions seemed to be great. The animals there were awesome as well

It is definitely worth visiting the zoo in the mountains, especially if you like lynx. There are a lot of them and they are the most popular and funny.

Small zoo overlooking the city of Innsbruck. There is a limited selection of animals and lots of birds. Several exhibits we're under construction. The facility is probably best suited to families and groups with small children. A decent stop on the trek to the Top of Innsbruck, but not comparable to the larger zoos throughout Austria.

It's tiring to walk up the slopes to see different animals but the kids were excited for that. A good experience for Asian kids to explore some animals which they normally can't see in Asia.

The zoo is quite mediocre. Only very small kids can have some fun. Can give it a pass as there's lots to do in innsbruck if you seek thrill.

Maybe interesting for people who like birds. Only interesting thing was the active bear. It was pacing around. Appeared to be following one of the visitors and stood up several times. A lot of walking and not saw much. Only went because it was included in the Innsbruck Card and on the way down from the Nordkette funicular.

we enjoyed the ride on the funicular but the zoo was disappointing.. Small enclosures and some animals , for example, a wild cat showed distressing behaviour...constant pacing back and forth. Was really surprised to see bullfinches in an enclosure. very little of the signage and information was in English

We went to this zoo hoping to see alpine animals in large cages, well-cared for and in as natural habitat as possible. It was very hilly which is good to know as it gets tiring walking up and down the steep hills. We loved seeing the marmots and mountain deer, all other animals seemed troubled in the tiny spaces they had been shoved into. The sad bear in its small cage pacing back and forth made me regret we came and even paid for this torture. The lynx and the lonely wolf had similar behavioral problems and were sad to watch. They paced up and down in the small habitat given to them. The moose enclosure was super small. We thought it is empty but then spotted one large moose locked in a mini wooden cage where it could hardly turn around. I wonder why it was locked in there? Lots and lots of boring birds- also in cages that were way too small. The cafe was good and served us a nice meal, views are nice but overall a depressing experience for our family. We thought the animals would have huge areas to roam in but were unfortunately wrong.
