Super easy hire and great location near Vondel Park. Available car parking across the street at 6 euros an hour too, which was helpful for us. Bikes were great - very easy to ride. We all had fun! Thanks also for the fun restaurant recommendation. The children loved the Vegan Junk Food suggestion!

Decent bikes, but very unfriendly service. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Furthermore, when returning the bikes no receipt was provided and when asked they wouldn’t even write a confirmation of return on the form either, leaving us with no proof of having returned the bikes even though Euro 200 was held as a deposit on my credit card. Now I just have to hope & pray I get the deposit back.

Had to rent an electric assist cargo bike to help my daughter move things from one apartment to another. The people at MacBike were helpful and friendly, the bike worked very well. I also asked them for advice on installing an electric retrofit on my daughters bike and again they were very helpful and informative.
For those of you anticipating renting a bike in Amsterdam, beware of the tram trolley tracks. I did take a painful spill when the tires dropped into them. It was my fault and avoidable if you are aware.

Absolutely amazing experience. I paid £25 for 3 days to rent a bike which is really cheap! The shop is easy to find from amsterdam trainstation and the staff are fabulous! I also left my bank card in store and the staff emailed me to reassure It was found and safe! The bike was brilliant condition and didn't fail me once! Highly recommend this place to anyone it is a must when traveling around amsterdam! ❤️ 💙

The staff at MacBike were very kind and helpful. It was super easy to reserve a bike online with a credit card. The bike was ready to go when I arrived at the shop, and it was exactly what I needed for a day of exploring. I will definitely rent a bike from this shop again.

We hired bikes for 24hours. Luckily oli booked online just before we queued in the shop, as those in front of us were turned away as the shop didn't have enough bikes left, but we had already reserved the last few. The staff were helpful, the bikes were easy to ride & the locks easy to use. There was a rack on the back with ties so you could secure your bag & I bought a silicone phone holder so I could follow Google maps on my phone on the handlebars.
