Our driver Ace was excellent. Great historical store teller. We appreciate his insight and being a local from Anchorage he knew some good history.

You can quickly get an overview of Anchorage attractions, but it's a bit superficial, suitable for tourists with limited time to explore the city in depth

The tour guide was the worst!! He spent half his time telling long winded stories about his misguided youth, ex girlfriend, his wife, a pilot who took him up in a plane when she shouldn't. It went on, and on. I also thought he was disrespectful to one young man on the tour who is a pilot for the armed forces. He kept calling him 'fly boy' and 'challenging' him with ridiculous questions.
The historical information he provided about Anchorage and Alaska was interesting, but essentially the tour would have been just over an hour if he'd just stuck to the facts.

Very disappointing tour. Got tired of hearing about driver’s ex-girlfriend and all about his feelings about this and that. Couldn’t wait to get off the bus.

We decided to take the trolley tour because it was a little too rainy outside for walking around. I’m glad we did. Aaron, our driver and narrator was fun, funny and had all the facts. He encouraged questions and knew all the answers. He took us all around Anchorage pointing out significant or historic sights. We were able to get off and take pictures and ask more questions. A really fun and informative afternoon. Great job Aaron!

We had time to kill before we caught the train to Whittier to catch a cruise. We did this last minute. They sell tickets right next to the visitor center. Nice short tour. We didn’t do the deluxe version. We wish they would of let get off the bus at earthquake park instead of where the seaplanes park. The trolley driver was nice and informative.

Our driver, Prince, was funny, extremely personable & engaging & provided us with information & history about both Anchorage & Alaska as a whole. We were able to see places on the tour that we wouldn't have known to go to otherwise & learn things that were fun facts to enhance our experience while we rode around town. It was a quick, cool way to start our first day visiting & I'd recommend it to people as a good ice breaker to gain some knowledge about our 49th state.

April Bielefeldt planned a great trip to Alaska including a trolley ride around Anchorage to hear about the history of the city. The whole trip was amazing seeing bears, sheep and other animals in Denali National Park and the wildlife center. She has other trips planned for 2023 and 2024. She also will help you make an itinerary for a trip you want to take at her website. I recommend her as a great tour guide!
