Spend a half hour collecting litter, helping restore the beauty and health of the forest ecosystem. Then hike deep into ancient woodlands, over moss-covered lava beds and through lush groves of cypress and oak trees.

Visit the shores of a crystal-clear lake where Mt Fuji can often be seen towering above its reflection on the surface of the water, forming an exceptionally photogenic "double Fuji" image.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, Narusawa-mura, Minamitsuru-gun 0320 Yamanashi Prefecture
Hike uphill through evergreens and andromeda trees to a vista point with a breathtaking, yet little-known panoramic view of Mt Fuji, its forested foothills and the aquamarine waters of the most remote of the Fuji Five Lakes.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Mount Fuji, Chubu
Enjoy outstanding views of Mt Fuji and the surrounding countryside.
Duration: 30 minutes

See the most remote of the Fuji Five Lakes from an unparalleled high-elevation outlook point.

We had a fantastic hike through the mystical Aokigahara forest, and we saw some great hidden lava caves and tunnels. Our guide, Aaron, had a deep knowledge of both the technical and mythical history of the forest. The hike can get a bit off track since the forest trails are seldom maintained, so be prepared for that, or let the guide accommodate your fitness level. Aaron showed us several good viewpoints of mt. Fuji, to accommodate for a bit cloudy weather cover. Pictures unfortunately don't capture the spirit of the forest well, it has to be experienced.

We had an amazing time hiking through the forest and then biking around the lake! Excellent views of Mt Fuji, and very easy pick up process from the train station. Can’t recommend Aaron enough!

Fantastic tour! Got to see parts of the areas surrounding Mt Fuji most people never get to experience, as well as a lot of great information and conversations!

We did the Aokigahara Forest Nature Conservation Full-Day Hiking Tour, and I can't express enough how much the tour exceeding my expectations. They provided really great snacks and drinks for us for the day and were incredibly informative of the nature and history of the area. They were also very accommodating and adjusted the tour when we got a little tired after a long hike. If you have a chance to utilize a tour company in Japan, I highly recommend Fuji Bike Tour.
