Our 5 hour Discovery Tour is a combination of snorkelling fringing reefs, exploring secluded bays, and learning all about beautiful Magnetic Island. Benefit from having Master Reef Guides on tour sharing the stories of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Personalised to suit our guests with small tour numbers, your amazing adventure starts with us.
Activities include exploring secluded pristine bays and beaches, birdlife, snorkel beautiful fringing reefs, reef education with Master Reef Guides, interactions with fish "friends", and marine life - whales (July to Sept), stories and indigenous history all in the one tour. Stand Up Paddle boards, floating pontoon to sit on and relax. Enjoy a morning tea on a secluded beach and connect with the special places we explore on Magnetic Islands iconic and stunning coastline.
Morning tea and all equipment for activities is provided for you.
Snorkel tuition is provided in a safe and caring environment.

The tour was great. Adam was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about his work. He even took some photos for us while we were in the water. Lucas was super friendly and did a great job assisting. The snacks provided were plentiful and delicious. The tour felt like a nice length and was flexible to how the group was feeling. Saw lots of different fish, 2 turtles, and stingrays. Adam also called in a floater turtle to the appropriate people and helped get it to the turtle hospital! Overall had a great time! Definitely recommend.

We went on this tour with another family for a second time and it was just as amazing, and very different each time :)
The staff were great with children, very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

We didn’t go! Kalvin, the skipper, contacted us on the afternoon before the trip and informed us of the sea conditions. He offered us free cancellation (after the deadline) because snorkeling would probably be limited. We consider that more than fair and would book Aquascene anytime again! Thanks, Kalvin!!

One of our best experience ever!!
Both crew were so nice and helping, caring. We didn't know swimming, but still watched and did snorkling on the Pontoon. My wife scared of water but she did snorkling as well with the help and inspiration from crew 😊Nice morning tea and location. Everything was perfect!

The crew is great with lots of interesting knowledge shared and a real passion for the island and area clearly evident. Was the first time snorkeling for me and it was really great. Definitely worth booking if on the island.

We had a great day. Laid back and relaxed, not rushed at all, and we were treated to some very interesting sightseeing. Calvin and Amy are running a well organised operation, and they are such nice company. Perfect size of the boat and nice size group, i.e. not too big. Calvin is a local guy with great knowledge of history of the island, and he knows the nice spots. Fantastic snorkelling on one of the reefs. I highly recommend this trip!

Kelvin was an awesome skipper, giving clear instructions and fascinating information about Magnetic Island and its bays and shipwrecks. We were hugely impressed. Amy was a brilliant first mate too with advice and information. We loved the swimming stop for morning tea & the second stop for wonderful snorkelling with incredible fish including a visit from Rod the cod. We loved it all. Thank you Aquascene!

Amazing tour by friendly guides .
Got some history about “Maggie “ and plenty of time to swim and snorkel. We even got to meet Rod the cod 😂
Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island .
