Arrive at Aquila Private Game Reserve no later than 12:30 pm for your Afternoon Safari Game Drive with chance encounters with the Big 5 animals namely Lions, Leopards, Rhinos, Elephants, and Buffalos. You may also spot Giraffes and Antelopes. (Please note that Aquila Game Reserve is approximately 2-hours drive from Cape Town.)
Upon arrival at 12:30 pm, you will receive a Welcome Drink at the entrance. This will be followed by a full buffet lunch in the restaurant with vegetarian options available (Halal). After lunch you will join a shared open 4x4 Safari Game Truck, as you set off on an exciting 2 to 3-hour safari game drive. The afternoon game drive affords you the opportunity to see the free-roaming animals in their natural habitat. All game drives are led by an experienced game ranger who will share stories about the animals and their surroundings throughout the safari.
Upon your return from your safari, you are welcome to take a dip in the pool or enjoy a cocktail to end off.

Erg massaal. De wagens hobbelen heel erg. Voor ons geen probleem maar voor mensen met rugproblemen of mijn 83 jarige vader en 80 jarige moeder best pittig. Prachtige omgeving en alle dieren gezien. Onderweg nog een lekke band gehad en moesten van wagen wisselen.

Bien organisé, très bon accueil, c'est un grand parc, ce n'est pas la nature complètement sauvage, on voit de nombreux animaux

Tolle Tour von gut 2 Stunden durch abwechslungsreiche Landschaft. Ich war dreimal da und habe jedes Mal 4 der Big 5 gesehen (Löwe, Büffel, Elefant, Nashorn + Giraffe, Nilpferd, Zebras, Gnu, Elond). Die Ranger geben sich große Mühe die Tiere bestmöglich zu zeigen und gute Fotoperspektiven zu ermöglichen. Aber es kann auch mal sein, dass die Löwen einfach nicht da sind (selber nicht erlebt).
Der Pool ist bei Sonne der Hammer!
Bitte ein kleines Trinkgeld für die Ranger geben. Vergessen leider viele.
